So there I was, craving some chicken goodness, and I thought "hey, let's try these Chicken Buddy sandwiches!" Well, buddies they were NOT. These bad boys were having a full-on pool party in mayo sauce. I'm talking SWIMMING. The chicken was so soggy it could've filed for water damage insurance, and don't even get me started on those pickles. You know those pickles were bad when a pickle enthusiast like myself wanted to yeet them into the next dimension.

One bite in, and I'm like "Houston, we have a problem." So I mosey on up to the counter, hoping to get my money back. The girl behind the counter and I ended up having this beautiful exchange that went something like: Me: "Refund please!" Her: "I replace!" Me: "No, refund please!" Her: enters statue mode 😐

Trying to call the store? HA! Wrong number, folks! It's like they're running a witness protection program for their phone line. Their website? Same wrong number. It's like they're playing "Hide and Seek: Restaurant Edition."

Two weeks later (because I'm stubborn like that), I went back for Round 2: Manager Edition. Let me tell you, that went about as well as trying to teach a cat to fetch. The staff hit me with the classic "We don't give out names" routine. I mean, is this A&W or the CIA?

The grand finale? The employee gave me a look that could curdle milk before walking away. I haven't seen someone that angry since my grandma caught me eating cookies before dinner.

10/10 would recommend... if you enjoy culinary mysteries, mayo swimming pools, and impromptu games of "Who's the Manager?"

Last night I went to this A&W at around 1:55am November 9,2024 I ordered 2 chicken buddy burgers combo with add on ( red onions,cheese, habanero sauce instead of the regular sauce ! Asked for fresh fries with seasoning salt on them! When I received my order via ( Drive thru) I checked my order before leaving the drive thru and I pointed out to the cashier that my fries were cold and I had asked for fresh fries, she started to argue with me and I said to her, I’ve worked at this particular restaurant in 2016 and it takes 2:25mins for fresh fries, you don’t need to argue with me or be rude you may just simply replace the fries with a fresh bach! She continued to argue with me! My partner asked her again can we get fresh fries please and she rolled her eyes at us and grabbed the bag of food aggressively! This is so sad and upsetting seeing the customer service here like this because it never used to be like this when PAM managed the store! I had worked at this location for 3 years and loved working here! But this is so disappointing and very upsetting to see! Been going here for the last 10 years. In the last couple years Service has deteriorated. Today I got half of a bun of a sandwich (not cheap atleast 6 bucks) that I ordered and when I went to get it fixed the front cashier was nice about it but the cook ROLLED HER eyes at me. THIS is what really triggered me. They really need to improve their customer service atleast train these people before they hire. Drive through mannerisms aren't upto standard either. The girl acted like she was paying for our food and had no 2 way communication. Also there was about 20 people working in that one shift but they were all acting like they were busy. The guy at the front cashier was walking around and I had to go say hi to him. It might seem like these are small things but when they all add up in one experience it's not that great of a place to spend your money at. I usually would rate this place as one of the better fast food spots in the fleetwood area BUT the staff needs to be trained properly and definitely taught especially not to roll their eyes at customers. I'm not spending my money to get attitude from some woman who can't cut up a piece of bread...
