All About Pho — Restaurant in Surrey

All about pho : they have Lots of parking outside and spacious inside, I ordered a salad roll ( inside is veggie ham and shrimp ). it came with peanut sauce tho I have had the dish at other pho restaurants and found that there sauce was quite mild didn't taste much in the way of peanut and not very rich in flavor the wrap they had it was a bit loose and fell apart when eating so perhaps they need to improve how they make them. I also ordered the #38 grilled Lemon grass pork slices with shrimp on vermicili, the dish was quite big the pork was a bit dry but flavor was just so so. I sort of expected it to be sweet but it really came off as pretty mild in flavor, it was nice that they do put on a lot of veggies to go with the vermicelli.

I was given complementary tea and I ordered a milk tea with lychee and coconut jelly in the drink which was very good definitely recommend to try there drinks. Which come in a take out cup.

I also did takeout for my family but they had similar experience with their dishes #47 grilled beef short ribs on rice not very flavorful more rice than meat the meat quite fatty so did have alot of gristle and flavor quite mild. Not what we'd expected thought it would be more flavorful.

And a soup for another family member #11 Noodle soup with round eye steak, well done flank and soft tendon the dish had a very nice amount of veggies but again the flavor wasn't as savory as you'd expect it was quite mild unfortunately.

The food was sort of just so in measure of flavor the food portions we found decent for what you get.

Starting off with the food, it is amazing value for the price. On top of the food tasting great, portions are incredibly generous. Wait times for food to come are also very good, taking just 10-15 minutes to receive your food after ordering. Whether you're ordering a Rice and Meat Dish, or noodles, you'll find that you won't be walking away hungry after eating here.

There are plenty of Vegetarian options on the Menu, and the Vegetarian Pho especially is a highlight. Delicious and filling with a price tag around $14. Cheaper than you could get Pho at most places in Surrey, with a taste to match more expensive restaurants.

The staff are professional and helpful. Haven't yet had a bad experience with any Staff Member there. Notably, staff will not come around to the table, requiring you to ask for help when staff are passing by, or requiring you to head to the front desk. This is both a positive and a negative. On one hand, you'll have no interruptions during your meal, or during any business you have to discuss with others here. On the other hand, you may have to interrupt your own meal to get up and ask for something. Personally, I love the style.

Finally, the Decor and look of the place. The inside is clean and smells strongly of Pho Soup, so there are no issues with Odors or Cleanliness. However, the washrooms during my visit were a major mess, with water (or other liquids) all over the floor both inside and outside the stall, and an unpleasant odor inside.

All in all. 4/5 Stars. Good Food Good Prices Good Atmosphere Good...

This is for King George branch, I had a chance to write this here, we had our dinner on Sunday at your resto, (firstly) we were served by a not so friendly and not smiling weak customer service lady. (secondly) There are lot of big flies next to our table in the window, so upset as the chopsticks and condiments are exposed and no one knows if the flies landed on those and (thirdly) the worst thing was, when we paid our bills, and I added a tip by custom fill in the tap machine, the cashier went back to me saying why you did not give 10% tip, the server helped you...Oh my I was so shocked of her saying that, this is the first time hearing this from a resto asking for a tip from a customer so badly. I will never never forget this experience at all, and won't come here anymore. I could have given more than what I have given as long as the customer service is good and look at the flies roaming around the tables and windows, (and finally) when we left, we even saw them talking to each other about us probably, when they were cleaning our table, as we were still in our car watching them, oh my, this was a not so nice customer service experience, rate?? food is excellent, but service & cleanliness are poor. If you want to know who are these staff who served us and the cashier, then check your schedule on Sunday around dinner time 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, I tell you we are really saying the truth and our disappointments. I hope you advise your staff in...
