Would rate 0 stars if I could. I came in for the free dilly bar promotion after leaving a delightful review regarding their customer service only to be made of fool of by the staff. Unfortunately this experience shattered all previous beliefs about this stores customer service and policies. I grew up eating Dairy Queen and have been a loyal customers for years, identifying with this establishment but it is safe to say i no longer wish to be associated with this company's name. They said they had ran out of dilly bars and were unable to provide me with any compensation despite me seeing another customer come in for the same promotion. Upon confronting the anonymous customer, they told me that they had ran out of dilly bars but were able to substitue it for a Orange Julius. This enlightened customer also told me that other locations offer cones in replacement for dilly bars if they ever run out of stock. I returned to confront the employee about this enlightening information but she turned me away and told me i could come back another day, knowing that this promotion cannot be repeated on consecutive days. It was very disappointing to see the difference in customer service at this location compared to the one of the Guildford location. Clearly they value customer service and accommodating all customers looking for delicious frozen treats despite their lack of stock in certain items and it is apparent that this location does not share those values or shared mission. I ordered a custom cake with a personalized photo online and called to ensure it would be ready for pickup at 10:30. The worker who answered the phone assured me it would be ready for pick-up any time after opening (10am). When I arrived to pick up the cake they had not even started preparing it.
