I returned to this restaurant after remembering how good it was 4-5 years ago. But this time I left here shaking my head in extreme disappointment. My wife and I walked into the restaurant around 7pm and were seated at a large booth. It was not busy in the restaurant at all. The waitress (owner maybe?) put the menus and water on the table then walked away without as much as an acknowledgement. Not a big deal.

Shortly after, the waitress came up to us and asked if we could move to a smaller table to accomodate a bigger group. No problem. I helped her move all the cutlery and glasses over to the next table. She put down what she carried and didn't even thank us for the help or any acknowledgement that we had to move tables.

When it was time to order, we asked if we could do two different flavours of chicken in one order, half-half (they used to do this). She said no. Again, not a big deal as rules change.

The food came out quickly. The chicken was lukewarm and not crispy at all, like it had been sitting in the sauce for a while. No one came and checked on us at all throughout the meal. If they had, we would have politely requested they remake it. It was not horrible but we came for crispy fried chicken, not a soft lukewarm mush of chicken pieces.

Our waters were not refilled a single time, and no one checked on us at all throughout the entire meal. Again it was not busy in the slightest. There were maybe 2 or 3 other tables with guests.

At the end of the meal I flagged down a waitress to ask for a couple of takeout boxes. She came and brought them, handing them to me with one hand and just walking away. I said thank you and again, no acknowledgement.

When it was time to pay I walked up to the cash register and there was a staff member standing there on her phone texting. I stood there for almost a minute, right in front of her, waiting for her to finish so I could get my receipt and pay. She didn't look up from her texting once to acknowledge me. I finally piped up and asked her for the bill and she was so oblivious that she got startled like a deer, despite me standing in front of her there for so long.

This was the only time in my entire life I did not tip. The service I received was so poor that they do not deserve it in the slightest. I won't be returning to this restaurant which is sad because we used to really enjoy it...

First off, the food is the best Korean chicken you can get probably in the lower mainland. It comes on a sizzling plate and they are not shy with the cheese and rice cakes. I highly recommend getting their specialty flavours for boneless chicken. Their service is top tier. We came in on a busy Thursday night expecting a long wait, however we were seated very quickly and given water and the menu right away. I was very pleased when my girlfriend accidentally dropped a chopstick on the floor, and a server came to replace it for us without us even asking. The pricing is very fair, one order of chicken will have 2 people very full with lunch packed for the next day, or feed 3-4 heavy eaters. The christmas decorations and atmosphere is great. The booths are private with walls so that, despite the smaller venue on a busy night, you still do not feel cramped. The venue has lots and lots of parking so no need to worry about that. And if they are too full one night, there are other great restaurants...

Horrible service, never coming back again. I would be ok if they notify us about the new 90 minute limit rule before we sit down, they didn’t. I would totally understand if it’s a busy weekend and people are lining up out the door, but it was a weekday late evening & half of the place was empty. This restaurant put a 90 minute limit on a table due to “infection control” for COVID and I would like clarification on which specific advisory did Health Canada recommended (other than it’s a rule that this restaurant made up to turn the table for NOBODY on a dead weekday late evening when half of the restaurant is empty) because I have never heard it in any other restaurant since COVID? Also, if you enforce this rule so strictly, why let us order a whole pitcher plus more appi 75 minutes in without warning us, and come back 5 minutes later and tell us we have to leave soon? Do you guys expect the two of us to chuck down 2L of beer in 10 minutes? This service is a joke and...

The volcano chicken was delicious but spicy! Portions are huge, perfect for sharing and trying a few items.

They have almost 20 different flavours with boneless chicken, and most of them are pretty good. Garlic chicken and green onion chicken are my favourite there. Price is okay, but the portion is big. (But the amount of garlic is not consistent, sometimes a lot, sometimes just 2-3) Corn cheese chicken w/ udon noodle was kind of disappointing. It seemed like new item on the menu, and looked super good. When it came to the table, yes, it looked amazing as it does on the menu. However, the taste was not as good as it looks. First of all, the chicken was very soggy and mushy. I know it can be soggy with sauce, but it was different. It was damp as if it was wet by water or a lot of steam. Second, very lack of flavour. The chicken was covered with some sauce (taste like sweet chilli), and it was too weak to taste. Especially, with noodle together, the sauce needed to be stronger.. The service is okay, food was ready quite fast, but hopefully they improve the taste of food.
