Today I ordered veggie pakora from this restaurant and being a Indian, I was expecting original veggie pakora which were supposed to be a mixture of different vegetables like potato, onions, spinach, etc but instead of that I got these Pokora, which are mixture of red carrots, cabbage, onion, bell pepper. I am eating veggie pakora for a long time but I have never ever seen anyone putting red carrots, bell peppers and cabbage as veggie pakora, which was the funny part. They just mash those things and make a flat round sort of patties, in which most of the onions were burnt, and it was loaded with lots of chickpea flour, which supposed to be at least amount in veggie pakora. Moreover, there was nothing mentioned on their menu that which things they put in these veggie pakora, neither the guy on reception told us anything about the ingredients and when I told them like, what are these they say this is how they make this. My only concern is by putting the name as veggie pakora which is an Indian dish, they are not even selling the actual dish on that name, they are completely delivering a different item which was tasteless because everything is mixed and I was not even able to taste one single flavour and only thing I could taste was chickpea flour because that was in pakora’s in excessive amount.

All the black part you see is burnt onion, the yellowish shiny part is chickpea flour. You could see how much chickpea flour they put in these pakoras. I was never offered any compensation for such an item by this restaurant neither refund.

I hope take this under consideration so that no one gets disappointed in future for having this kind of stuff which was waste of my money, time and...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chatora Restaurant with my brother. We decided to try out the Amritsari Kulcha and Kadhai Chicken Thali for dinner, and I must say, both dishes were absolutely delectable and truly finger-licking good. The flavors were rich and authentic, making for a satisfying meal.

The ambience of the restaurant was another highlight of our visit. The decor was elegant, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, which enhanced our dining experience. It's clear that a lot of thought has been put into creating a welcoming environment for guests.

However, there are a few areas that could use improvement. Firstly, the service timing was slower than we had anticipated. It took a considerable amount of time for our order to be served, which was a bit disappointing given how hungry we were. Secondly, the server attending to us seemed to lack sufficient knowledge about the menu items. Additionally, their attitude was less than ideal, which detracted from the overall experience.

Despite these issues, the quality of the food and the lovely ambience made our visit worthwhile. I would recommend Chatora Restaurant for its delicious cuisine and pleasant atmosphere, but I hope they address the service-related concerns to make the dining experience even better.

I've attached some photos of the menu and the food we ordered...

This place was recommended by a friend for its butter chicken. Last night we ordered delivery through Skip…The food arrived hot and on time.

Items we chose were all medium spicy… Tandoori Fish ….was tender but overly spiced with masala and small portion. Along with burnt onions and bell peppers. Lamb Masala… gravy was flavourful and had tender pieces of lamb. Paneer Taka Tak …paneer was soft but tasted Below average. Nothing great. Chilli Lancha parantha….was good Butter Chicken with Bone ….they claim to make it Indian Stlye. I’m sure Mr. Gujral (moti mahal) the creator of this dish would disagree. The sauce was not creamy, lightly tangy with a mild spice profile. In contrast it was masala loaded, with no tandoori taste to the chicken and definitely not creamy. Just a thick curry chicken. Everyone left it in their plates. It’s definitely a miss! Our friend that had recommended it tried it with us and agreed it was not good.

Another Indian restaurant that we had high hopes for that missed the mark and was inconsistent in...

Suspiciously, this exact same review that I posted in July, it went mysteriously missing after I called a complaint in to Fraser health. No wonder these guys had to change their name with the direction their food went. They didn't even have our order until our driver showed up for it and then we had a pathetic showing of chicken in spaghettio sauce and what I'm genuinely hoping was a spice seed pod and not a bug in our "Palak paneer". There was nothing authentic feeling about this meal. All I can say is "I'm glad I had a damn coupon" because I'd be pretty offended to pay full price for that. Anyway, I'll be probably posting this again in a few weeks
