We’ve always enjoyed dining at Aaron's Pizza for its cozy, peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite spot. However, our recent visit was a bit of a letdown. We were with our 14-month-old baby and requested a high chair, but the server misunderstood and thought we were asking for a high-top chair. It turns out, they don’t have high chairs for kids, which was fine, but it was an unexpected inconvenience.
Things didn’t improve much from there. I ordered a Pina Colada with one shot of rum, but the server seemed confused and repeatedly asked if I wanted a highball or vodka instead. I clarified that I wanted a Pina Colada with white rum, but it felt strange since we’ve always had this drink without any issues before.
When our appetizer arrived, we noticed the dip came in a chipped container. We requested a replacement, but it took about 5 minutes for the new one to arrive, and by then, our appetizer had already cooled down. We would have been more understanding if it had been a busy day, but the restaurant was not crowded, so it was hard to overlook these missteps.
While we still love the restaurant’s atmosphere, this experience made us question whether we’ll return soon. Hopefully, this was just an off day, but it’s disappointing when small details affect the overall...
Read moreI am leaving a review because I still remember the old Aaron’s in 1985. We ordered a house special and instantly fell in love. It was definitely an excellent Pizza. But that was then. Please read on and bear with me.
Now I want to emphasize that this place has great potential. The owners are nice. The premises are clean and cozy. Intimate. They have a menu, presumably mirroring the old Aaron menu I enjoyed watching a hockey game while I waited for my food, and my stay was most pleasant.
But the quality of the recipes, the ingredients and the preparation are lacking. The pizzas are stodgy. You can get quality like this in any hole in the wall, two bit pizza joint. It’s a clear indicator of a chef who fell out of love with food, or maybe never learned.
As I said I hate leaving bad reviews. But this place had better pull up its boot straps. Because there are old Aaron customers like me who occasionally darken the door, expecting good eats. But when they can’t prepare a basic pepperoni or even plain cheese pizza well…. Time to make serious improvement’s.
I will check in again in the future, hopeful to see good changes in place. But I won’t be...
Read moreThe place is not bad! The food is pretty good, just don't go here if you're on a diet.
The food is reasonably priced to where you wouldn't feel like you're being ripped off, and it's also delicious. The pizzas are your typical Indian pizza place pizza. The pastas are good, except the menu makes it really hard to know if you are ordering a pasta or an entree. We ordered a schnitzel and it came with pasta, but there is no mention that it would. The Greek food on the other hand (I had the roasted lamb) was very good, and absolutely filling, very good for the price! Don't order the Nachos though, it was sad to see that for the cost, the amount I got and the quality was not up to my standards, it was just bland overall. The food took a while to come though, maybe about 40 mins, the song playlist had looped back to the song that was playing when we first made our order.
I would say that the atmosphere is nice, they have really done a lot. While we were there, you can still hear renovations being made at the back.
Overall, I would come again. My family and I (5 altogether) went for Thanksgiving and it was possible for it to have been understaffed...
