This has been our go to Chinese restaurant for delivery for almost 20 years. We were once such frequent customers that the restaurant would drop off a bamboo calendar at Xmas each yea. Unfortunately it has gone into significant decline the last few years.
Freshly prepared food has been sacrificed for fast delivery times - and delivery is fast!Food tastes like it was prepared days ago and quality has become questionable. Chop suey is a collection of canned baby corn, celery and onions - I miss bok Choi and mushrooms. Spring rolls were once my favourite from here - no more! What was the mushy white stuff anyway? S&S Pork soft batter, weak sauce, tasted old. I’ve only ever used delivery and a peek in the restaurant is the reason. I will give them a couple months and try one last time, if not improved, I’ll be searching elsewhere. To be cont…

The Pros: We ordered 5 dishes and all were ready within 15 minutes for pick up. The size of the dishes were a good size and the cost was lower than other places with the same sizes, so from a money end this place is probably the best bang for your buck. The food was really good with us enjoying 4 out of the 5 dishes, the 5th dish was okay and it's probably just their unique way of preparing it we didn't enjoy as much. The staff was extremely friendly!
The Cons: The decor of the place hasn't been updated in years (possibly ever), though this probably is why the food is priced so well.

I've read people had issues with home delivery, but with this place being in down town Cloverdale it's easy to find parking it's so quiet on the streets. So if you have time to pick up your food this place should be on the top...
Read moreI read all the reviews, and it came highly recommended by a co-worker, so i decided to try it out, and was very disappointed. Ordered for take out, showed up on time and was made to wait for about 15 minutes, there was nobody seated in the restaurant at the time, and 1 other person came in for take out. We ordered deep fried prawns, that were so over battered..... prawns the size of a lonnie, so heavily battered that they were the size of my fist, way to thick and chewy. The rest of the food, which consisted of chow mein, chop suey, fried rice, and egg rolls, was all ok at best, but both myself and my wife had upset stomachs after eating the food. The restaurant itself is a bit of a dive, and leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe I was there on a off day, but I could not recommend this restaurant to...
