If I could give 0 stars, I would. Today was Free Cone Day, where each person is allowed one free cone. I went with my child, and both of us have separate accounts with coupons. However, the cashier refused to allow us to redeem both coupons, stating that only one cone could be given. I explained that we each had separate accounts and coupons, but she simply said "no" in a very very rude and dismissive tone.
During the ordering process, another mother and child arrived, and the cashier ignored us completely to take their order. It was obvious that they shared the same ethnicity and spoke the same language. This wasn't just unprofessional behavior; it was discriminatory.
When picking up the cones, the staff member handled them directly by the top, not by the paper cone holder, which is highly unsanitary. As a food service business, this is unacceptable.
The entire staff was Indian, and it felt like they had no regard for the rules or hygiene standards. They seemed to change the rules as they pleased. I will definitely not be returning to this establishment.
The flavor of the cones was extremely weak, far inferior to the $1 cones from IKEA. Given their poor work attitude, I seriously question the quality of their ingredients.
Even today we got ONE free cone, but we are very disappointed! Do not reccomend this place at all, don’t come here if you don’t want to be upset, save your money, go somewhere...
Read moreMy husband and I have frequently come to this location for the past several years as we love a blizzard treat, and the customer service has gotten awful. The past several times that we came, our blizzards were very soft and felt melty. Tonight, after taking a bite of my blizzard, it was so soft and runny and not even cold like a blizzard should be. I suspect my blizzard had been made and waiting on the counter while they were still getting the order ready for the car in front of us at the drive though. When we asked the lady to make me a new blizzard, even though she flipped the cup, you could see that the blizzard was running down and she refused to make a new one. We asked her kindly, and she kept insisting that the blizzard was fine, was very rude, argumentative, and then wanted to take my husband’s blizzard back. The employee was sick and even after holding my blizzard and speaking/yelling all over it, wanted to give it back to me…gross. I don’t understand why many of the employees at this location are so rude. They have no customer service skills and create such an unpleasant experience. The older woman who works here at the drive through is very nice, but it’s been a bad experience with the others. We are not coming back. Good luck staying in business for...
Read moreStrange Dairy Queen. The staff are all laughing, talking loudly and goofing off like it’s a party back there. It seems to impact what they make, where the burger had hardly anything on it and with the blizzard I could barely tell there were toppings so it was like paying extra for some slightly flavoured soft serve. Many of their ice cream cakes show signs of freezer burn and those treatzza pizzas were looking pretty sad in proportion. High expenses for less product.
It’s so expensive now if you want a burger, side and a blizzard that if they aren’t even putting effort into what has become a premium price then why would you want to bother going there? Like get a McFlurry and grab a better burger from Wendy’s or A&W or something. Go to a Fatburger. You want something with full flavour and condiments, these guys are absolutely skimping on them and from the attitude you see there they don’t really take anything seriously and don’t really care what they make you.
I get it that service jobs can suck and it’s nice that people want to have some fun, but if the results also suck then at least those of us who had to deal with it can warn everyone else that it’s an experience better off being skipped. Skip this DQ and...
