Fleetwood Sushi — Restaurant in Surrey

Today, I tried this place and was unimpressed. The food was thrown into the container without care and the rolls were made and cut in the same manner. I was also packed a fork for two rolls and a miso soup... I was pretty confused. Nothing I ate tasted very fresh either and I literally live a few minutes walk away and ate it right away... The rolls were not seasoned well either but that isn't exactly a surprise here. Was really only half edible after dunking more wasabi than I normally like into the soy sauce. I had a skip coupon, so I got it for less than half price so it wasn't worth complaining. However, I have honestly had better sushi on school campuses. And that's a pretty low standard. I would understand if I ordered complex rolls and it didn't work out well...but a california roll, a dynamite roll and miso soup...really? Those are literally the fundamentals...

It's a shame since I recently moved in nearby and haven't found a go to sushi place in the area yet. I don't normally give such a low score. But this place deserved it today. I had the worst sushi experience in recent memory. If the reviews suggest that this place improves, I would love to try it again in the future. However, as it stands, I do not want to go again. I will honestly just go next door to one of the other sushi places within walking distance or make a trip out...

First off the waitress was extremely impatient and was barely able to comprehend the simple questions we asked. My GF is gluten free and we had no option on a simple substitution or add-on, we were very disappointed by this even with the offer of paying for a higher end roll instead; we were not allowed such things. Plate presentation was good, no complaints. I was however disappointed with the fact my miso soup came five minutes after my sushi and at that point had no interest in eating that because it is an appetizer. My girlfriend had the "smoked" salmon roll, now I may be wrong but I believe "smoked" salmon is not served raw; thanks for making us pay extra for no reason. I was then blown away about 20 minutes into the meal where the waitress turned away a table of four, 30 minutes before closing (plenty of time). I myself work in the food industry and don't like late comers but I would never turn them away that early. Mainly was turned off by the waitresses impatience and desire to get the hell out of there. We dined it and waited for our food for over 1 hour and 15 minutes . They cleaned the tables with bleach and we couldn’t breathe and they came to clean the table with water only and the smell didnt go away. People came after us, ordered, ate and left while we were still waiting. We asked them for green tea and they said they only had one pot left. Uber eats and skip the dishes came and also got orders before we got ours. Also kept receiving new orders on the phone and people who are walking. We finally got our orders after 1 hour and a half and were very disappointed. We definitely will not be coming back here. We asked them for our dishes each time. They brought 2 dishes out and waited 1 hour for the rest. It was...
