We ended up at this location by accident. They have another location in Surrey but this worked out anyway since it was 15 min from the border. We were also here on a Monday so we were able to avail of their Monday Dosa special (7.95-8.95 for a Dosa with $3 additional for idli and vada). The dosas were slightly smaller than usual but that’s part of the special. Late lunch so seated immediately even though we were a group of 7. When the dosas came, one of the orders was messed up with the incorrect dosa. The one non dosa order came very late and the rest of us were halfway done. The sad part was , it was my kid’s meal. I had to give him my dosa so he wouldn’t need to sit around hungry. Moving onto to the actual food. Dosas were ok, vada and coconut chutney were good. Gobi Manchuria was also good. The space was not crowded but that could also be because it was mid afternoon on a weekday. Parking was easily available. Restrooms were another story. The toilets wouldn’t flush in both the men’s and woman’s restrooms. Additionally the men’s room started flooding from a floor grate. Just a mess that soured the whole experience.

I had the dosa and idly-chutney combination, along with a delectable soup as a starter. The soup was a definite highlight. The dosa was no surprise, however, it was the idly that left a lasting impression. It had a distinct flavor that piqued my taste buds, and I'm still trying to pinpoint the exact ingredients responsible for this unique taste. The service at Krishna Dosa and Grill was commendable. They were prompt and attentive. However, I made the mistake of requesting everything to be spicy, which resulted in the addition of green chili pieces. While I thoroughly enjoyed the spiciness, my dining partner found it too hot. So, if you're accustomed to South Indian spices and enjoy a good kick, this level of spiciness might be just right for you. Place worth trying if you're a fan of South Indian cuisine with a spicy twist.

Came here today as I was craving samosas. I eat Indian food weekly and have tried many restaurants. The Chicken 65 was absolutely delicious. BUT when I saw that the Veggie samosas were 3 for $5. I thought that was a good deal. I ordered to go and when I got home I was disappointed to find that the samosas were "mini" and no where on the menu did it say that. The flavour on the inside was good but the batter on the outside was not authentic and had a different texture. They also gave me FOUR chutneys BUT the mint chutney was again not authentic and basically a liquid not a chutney. I would have rathered one GOOD chutney. I would go here again for the chicken 65 but I'm not sure I'd want to try anything else with my experience with the samosas. It's honestly not hard to mess up a samosa, c'mon.

Disappointed with Poor Service and False Charges

I recently dined at Dosa Restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The poor service and false charges left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied.

First and foremost, the service at Krishna Dosa Grill South Surrey was subpar. The waitstaff seemed indifferent and unattentive, making it difficult to get their attention. It took a long time for them to take my order, and even longer for the food to arrive at my table. The servers were not knowledgeable about the menu and couldn't provide proper recommendations or answer my questions, which was frustrating. Additionally, they seemed to be in a rush and did not make an effort to create a welcoming or hospitable environment.

To make matters worse, I was shocked to find false charges on my bill. Upon reviewing the itemized bill, I noticed that I was charged for items that I did not order or receive. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they were dismissive and unapologetic. It took a significant amount of time and effort to have the charges removed, which was an inconvenience and left me feeling cheated.

As a customer, I expect honest and transparent pricing, as well as attentive and courteous service. Unfortunately, Dosa Restaurant failed to meet these basic expectations. The poor service and false charges left a sour taste in my mouth and significantly impacted my overall dining experience.

I was truly disappointed with my visit to Dosa Restaurant. The service was lacking in professionalism, and the false charges on my bill were unacceptable. I do not recommend Dosa Restaurant to others, and I will not be returning in the future

UPDATED: Instead of detecting which AI tool has been used, I would more focused on the service and food quality as a restaurant Owner, I used to be a Valued customer too but after my sour experience from intentionally false bill and server attitude, I would...

⭐ Absolutely Amazing South Indian Cuisine! ⭐

I had the pleasure of dining at Krishna Dosa Grill, and it was nothing short of phenomenal! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance transported me straight to the heart of South India. The warm hospitality and inviting decor set the tone for a memorable dining experience.

The food? Simply divine! The dosa was perfectly crispy, paired with chutneys that burst with authentic flavours. The sambar was rich and aromatic, just the way it should be. The variety of dishes, from fluffy idlis to flavourful Pondicherry Dosa, left me spoilt for choice.

The chai was the perfect blend of bold tea, aromatic spices, and creamy sweetness—pure bliss in every sip!. It was the ideal way to end the meal!

The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail was cared for with a smile. The authenticity of the food, the cleanliness, and the overall experience were top-notch.

If you're looking for a taste of South India that warms your soul and delights your taste buds, this is the place to be. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves great food and unforgettable experiences. I can’t wait to...
