Being a revert to Islam the one challenge I've always had was finding a descent Halal pizza place. I missed pepperoni, I missed sausage, and I missed salami. However, the approach many halal restaurants have used lacked passion and care for the pizza they'd prepare. Many times pizza would be under or over cooked, soggy crust, or it would not be the right proportion of crust, sauce, cheese and toppings. This has resulted in me having to turn towards my upbringing in a family of culinary experts and to making my own pizzas, and if I ever wanted to order in I would order the vegetarian pizzas from non-Halal places.
In recent days I saw some pictures on facebook of all these delicious looking pizzas from an event that some friends were a part of. I noticed the box on one of the pizzas read "L'zeez Halal Food". I thought "Wow, okay this looks like a place I'm going to give a try sometime!"
My wife and I earlier were in the mood to eat pizza. She wanted me to make one from scratch, but I felt like ordering in and decided to look up L'zeez to see what their options were. They have a good amount of options for Pizza, Pasta, Wings, Fried Chicken, and other sides.
I went with the Meat Feast Pizza, 2 orders of Wings, and the Classic Lasagna. I was also tempted to order some Fried Chicken, but I was afraid that by the time it would get here the chicken may toughen up and the crispiness would be lost, so I decided I would try that another time to order it in in person and have it fresh out of the frier.
Meat Feast Pizza. My wife and I went crazy over this! It was phenomenal. We looked at each other and agreed that this would be our go-to pizza place from now on right after our first bite.
The wings. We did 1 order BBQ and the other order Buffalo. Both were delicious, and they're wings. This restaurants knows what they're doing and those wings were what they needed to be.
The Classic Lasagna. It was very basic, but proved to be really good without having to be complicated.
To add to this, our intention was to save some left overs for tomorrow. However, my wife and (mostly) I scarfed everything down and left nothing for tomorrow, cause it was just that good!
I totally recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a good pizza (regardless if you eat Halal or not).
Next time I intend to go in person and to try out their Fried Chicken
I'm glad I found L'zeez and I would like to wish this business never ending...
Read moreSo I ordered pizza from L'zeez last night for my daughter's birthday and first of all the pizza arrived cold! Second it wasn't 14 inch pizza. Third after paying 31.15 for both 14 inch pizza I realized it was the wrong order and informed the driver about it. He took both pizzas in his car and called the restaurant while my daughter and I stood by the curb in the snow.. 30 seconds later without saying a word, the driver made a U-turn and took off! I called the restaurant and the guy tells me "well you didn't wanted the pizza so its gone", so I asked him if they are sending the correct order back, he said NO! then I asked for my refund and he told me they do not provide refund and hung up on me... Called back again and they wouldn't answer.. So I had to take the matter to the police and spoke to the fraud dept in the credit card company to get my money back.. They had the worst service and didn't try to fix the issue and make it right with the customers.. Never ordering with...

There are way better kebabs and Donair places in Surrey and vancouver.
It was cold chicken had no flavor. The wait was long, so I thought the food would be better. It was the opposite.
Yes it might be $2 cheaper than the other places. I'd rather pay $2 more and get a better product.
If you want something that will fill your belly up with a lot of rice and a little bit of chicken then this is the place for you.
Otherwise as a food critic, my options would be
Zaakis in new West King Donair in surrey
That are close by, try those and...
