McDonald's — Restaurant in Surrey

i had just gotten off the phone with this mcdonald’s regarding an incident with my brother, his friend, and an employee. he had brought his bike in the store unknowingly about their rules and had dumped a little bit of water in the garbage as he was in a rush to get home. i believe it was the shift manager who had gotten upset at him and angrily told him to “never step foot in the store.” this is highly inappropriate and when i had called the restaurant to confront about this he had insinuated my brother and his friend were lying and there was no proof (the two boys had the same story). the employee had said he didn’t say that statement and instead something about their bikes but then later said he made a mistake with his wording from before. he kept shifting the topic to the mistakes that were made, which i fully acknowledge but the tone of which that statement was said was unwarranted to the situation considering they were just little boys who were not creating obvious disturbances. this shift manager was rude and continued to argue with me although i told him i wanted to remain respectful and he tried to deflect the blame on the boys saying they didn’t apologize (which they did and explained they were in a rush). i cannot believe this is a grown man and i’m not surprised this specific location has gone downhill tremendously i hope something is done because this “manager” didn’t feel any remorse and truly had no direction on how to uphold customer service throughout...

I I've been been barely 15 mins out of this place as you read this.

My review:

2. I waited 20 mins to get my food from a, sorry, the worlds biggest, 'fast' food joint. They were busy. I can understand. Fair enough.

But ...

1. When I got the food, I took the food to my table and as I ate the fries, both me and my wife realized there was less to no salt in the fries and thats when I went back and told Lin (Asian/Filipino) lady who served me who then insisted she actually did add salt to the fries. To this I suggested she try it but she barely listened to it as both the window and SKIP THE DISHES kept them busy but then another (asian/filipino) lady working there shouted "Give him salt on the side". I had been watching her as I stood there before I even made my payment and she is loud and obnoxious. Both Lin and Mary did not give a flying fish that I left the counter after just asking once and I was not approached one single time over a simple 'saltless' fries. I am not a scene creating guy, hence a review.

I have been to over roughly 500 mcdonalds in my life but I have never ever come across some one who would offer me french fries with salt on the side. This is 21st century, innovative, grade 1 cheapness.

I can understand they were busy but I sure am entitlted to my $11.54 worth of a burger and fries. Because I did not have that here is my .46 cents worth of a review.

Takeout was brutal here on a Monday before noon. Long wait times for a burger that was missing ingredients. And then when I went back in upon realizing, there was little to no effort to make it right.

As I was waiting for the remake on the burger, the employee working cash asked me if I “wanted fries?” I said sure, thinking I was going to receive a small complimentary fry for my troubles. The employee brings me the replacement burger but no fries. I ask them about the fries and they say, “oh did you order any?” I said No, as I had not actually ordered any, but was confused why the employee would ask me if I “wanted” fries and then not provide said fries. And then to top it all off, upon receiving the remade burger, I was told they were out of onions. Did they not know until I came back asking where my onions were? And why didn’t they just tell me that at the start when I didn’t get them the first time?

Also they really needed some more staff on as you could see the employees stretched thin and a lot of long wait times for other guests and delivery drivers.

Because of all this, it’s a 1 star for me. Worth your time and sanity to just go to a...
