I've been ordering from Panago to my current address since the early 1990s, back when they were Panagopoulos, it hasn't always been perfect but the last year or two has been flawless (we order for delivery a few times per year and each time has been great). And near as I can tell they're soy-free, a big plus for me after an adult-onset soy sensitivity began a few years ago (I'm not allergic though, just sensitive, so can't say whether or not traces of soy might be present, I don't seem to react the next day anyway). Always arrives on time, usually a little early, even during that wind storm last December 20th with no working street lights. :-)
Compared to other pizzas, above a certain level there's not a great deal of difference (not counting high-end restaurants) and Panago is above that level. Below that level and you get the super-greasy cheese and/or astringent crust that attacks the gums and/or toppings that have too much feedlot odour about them, I've encountered none of those problems with Panago. Unfortunately what was delivered didnāt match up to what was pictured in the flyers . Without going into too much detail, both pizzas tasted like the boxes they came in and I remembered why we stopped ordering from Panago in the first place (I think it takes about 3 years to forget and order again lol).
Anywho- I bought into the new āorganic/higher quality ingredientsā message and really was hoping for a good pie and really canāt figure out why itās so hard to produce something edible. Iāll check in again in another 3...

I normally love Panago but I've ordered from the new King George Hub location twice now and both times it's been absolutely awful. I'm not sure what the deal is, but maybe the oven is too hot or the conveyer belt thing is too slow because the pizza and breadsticks were dry af and borderline burnt to a crisp both times I ordered. I think they also skimp on the sauce, so all these things combined made for some really unappetizing very dry pizza. Please check the temperature of your oven at least, and maybe consider not skimping so much no the sauce. I miss my old...
