Came on a Sunday with large group of friends. I've been to this location a few times now. Usually I order the house special pho and it's pretty good and worth it.
I ordered the special beef rib pho this and a taro slush this time. The beef rib pho was ok. The tarp slush was something I'm never ordering again. It literally tasted like melted vanilla ice cream. The straw it comes with is pretty horrible too. I wasn't even finished half the drink and it already was turning into mush; making it harder to drink.
My friend ordered a lemongrass chicken vermicelli dish. It was pretty big. The thing that he didn't enjoy was that it tasted and resembled tandoori chicken, it was bright red/orange; something you wouldn't regularly find at a typical Vietnamese restaurant.
The other thing I noticed was it was quite limited on the menu. Rice and vermicelli dishes don't really have a combo/variety of meats to mix and match like you usually get at a normal Vietnamese restaurant.
Not sure what it was about this time, maybe it was the large group we were with (~18 people), but the service was almost nonexistent. Half the table got to order there food, and the other half was ignored. It was almost like the tables were split in half, which they weren't. It was just annoying how they didn't even bother to check on us once, despite us sitting right in front of their drink booth. We had to wait a bit to even get a single refill of water; in which case they just left a pitcher with us.
The customer service here definitely needs work. Menu wise, they could use a bit more variety, and the drinks should resemble and taste like what they are labelled as. This place is definitely hit or miss depending on the day you go. The times I've sat on the left side of the room were great. Sitting in front of the drink counter (right side) and you're big table is...

I’ve eaten at Pho68 before. And I’ve enjoyed it. I’ve just never eaten at this Surrey location. But I also enjoyed eating at this new spot. The other location I’ve been to numerous times is the one in Burnaby by Edmonds.
Back to this location. It’s new, spacious and shiny. Located inside a shopping complex it was at first hard to locate through Google Maps. If you see Save On Foods park underground and then take the elevator upstairs. Parking is free for the first hour. Exiting the Save on Foods side walk directly across the roadway and you’ll see 68.
Compared to many other new Viet restaurants I was pleasantly surprised that their prices are pretty reasonable. A large pho is under $16 where a lot of places are getting in the $18 range. The beef rib pho was only $18.95 whereas most other places I’ve tried were in the mid $20 range. All three of my dining partners ordered it and they were very satisfied. I had a taste of one of the ribs and the meat was very soft.
I ordered the Northern style pho which has a lot of added green onions, ginger and lightly seared beef. This changes the broth quite significantly from the usual pho. I quite enjoyed it. You can add a single spring roll or salad roll to your pho for $3.5
Service was friendly as they stopped by to check on us multiple times and filled our teas.
I’m glad there’s another excellent option for Vietnamese in Surrey.

Read moreUPDATE: I had to take away a star. It's been 1 and half months since this review, and they did what I wrote about in the review. They raised their prices 3$ That's a bummer because we really liked the place. They waited until you returned a few times. To me It all turns into greed. Why can't resauraunts keep their prices reasonable and affordable for everyone?? It baffles me. In the 1 and half months, we had been there 6 times. That's a lot, and each time, we ordered 3 dishes with the oe as take out, and our bill was 60.45$, and now it's 68$ Truly a bummer. We won't be going back that much, and I know that it won't be noticeable, but I hope with this review, it will slow down some people from going as much as well.
-----‐---------------‐---------------------‐---------------- Original Review: The food is amazing. We have had a variety of dishes on the few times we visited. So far, we have tried...Hot n sour seafood Pho, lemongrass grass chicken and shrimp platter, spring rolls, off the bone beef pho, and wonton soup, all of which were very good. If you want authentic Vietnamese food, this is where you want to go. The service is great, staff are friendly and food arrives pretty fast.
Prices are borderline, so I hope they don't raise the prices once it's more known. With that being said, we have nothing negative to say. It shows we paid 10- 20$ per person it's not correct. We split the bill on 3 items and paid 32$ per person so probably for one person under 20 - 25$ would be...
