Pho Newton is a solid spot for a quick, satisfying meal without the fuss. It’s not the kind of place you go to for atmosphere or fine dining—it’s where you go when you want good food served fast at a fair price, and it delivers exactly that.
The food was delicious and fresh, with rich, flavorful broth and well-cooked noodles that hit the spot. The portions were generous for what you pay, and everything tasted clean and balanced. It’s clear they know how to do the basics right—no shortcuts, just well-prepared Vietnamese comfort food done the way it should be.
Service was quick and efficient. The staff didn’t waste time, which I appreciated, especially for a casual stop. You’re seated fast, orders are taken promptly, and food comes out within minutes. It’s the kind of place where you can be in and out without feeling rushed, just fed well and on your way.
Prices were reasonable, and that’s part of what makes Pho Newton such a good choice. You get a filling, flavorful meal that doesn’t cost more than it should. There’s a sense of consistency here—it’s dependable, straightforward, and exactly what you expect when you walk in.
The restaurant itself is simple but clean, with a comfortable setup that makes it easy to relax while you eat. It doesn’t need to be fancy to do what it does well.
Overall, Pho Newton is a great stop if you’re looking for something quick, tasty, and affordable. It’s not trying to impress anyone—it just focuses on good food and fast service, and sometimes that’s all you really need. Definitely worth it if you’re nearby and want a solid bowl of pho without overthinking...
Read moreServer/Cashier is so rude and really bad customer service! Today, February 5, 2023 around 12:45 to 1pm, me and my daughter came here to order a take out. While waiting for the order, I noticed that the plastic that they are using to wrap the bowl of soup was on the floor and the shoes of the cashier was touching it . I came over to whisper to her and told her politely and discretely about the plastic bag. And she said, "that's fine because she is only wrapping the bowl not the food"! And if I don't like the service, don't come back! Me: I told the cashier, that I said I was telling her politely what I saw and if she's doesn't like it, that's fine. Cashier: If you don't like the service just don't come back. Me: I told her, that if she doesn't want my discretion and comment about the plastic, then I will just write a review. Cashier: " Go ahead and make review and just don't come back here! We've been in this restaurant a dozen of times and this is the worst cashier I have ever dealt with. To the owner, your food is really good but if your front people are just rude like this, you will be losing a lot...
Read moreFood: Ordered 'Pho Dac Biet' and let's just say this is not the place for "Authentic" pho although owned by a viet family. Coming from a viet person myself fairly experienced in how vietnamese cuisine is expected to taste, broth tastes oddly sweet as if its full of sugar or msg, lack of umami flavour and beef. Not worth the price compared to most pho restaurants.
Service: Wasn't expecting top notch service. Offered lukewarm water, was filled a bit over 1/2 cup. After ordering, received our food shortly after, but that was the last time you can speak to them. After catching their attention, asked for a napkin or two as there wasn't enough for the 6 of us but I could definitely sense an attitude coming from the waitress.
Atmosphere: Felt very cramped, barely able to scoot between tables/chairs. Especially when the waitress pushes around a trolly that has a bin on top to dump excess food waste into and stack bowls. Surely, there's food splatters everywhere. But from the very start when we sat down, table did indeed...
