Please read the entire review before taking a risk. Buyers, there is a REASON WHY PEOPLE STICK TO BIG NAMES like Best buy and Amazon. I regret buying from these guys.
I am a guy who supports local business . Have a look at my other reviews so you know I usually give positive reviews to most local business as I like supporting local business. I took a chance with these guys because they are local Canadian company with reasonable pricing but disappointingly my fear turned out to be true.
Buyers BEWARE - They have restocking fees of 15% CUSTOMER SERVICE is not so friendly once the sale is done. They judge their customers. Once the sale is done , they don't seem to care. They may not even pick the calls.
I needed some electronics. I saw them as a seller on best buy and then I approached them directly to enquire about the state of products. I spoke to JP twice each lasting for nearly 15-20 mins. My inital chat seemed good and I decided to take a chance with these guys - I ended up buying a laptop online. The laptop arrived on time. I was also looking into buying 2 Sony X90L , an APPLE WATCH and some Sony noise cancellation headphones.
But here is the CATCH they had an UPCOMING SALE literally within 1 week after our discussion and they DIDN'T EVEN MENTION ONCE during all these chats that they are having an UPCOMING SALE. I had even explicitly asked it if they will have any kind of SALE as I was in no rush. They chose to ignore to mention about the sale. They have some sneaky business practices. Please read all the reviews here and on BEST BUY website (third party seller) and other forums before you take a chance. Every company I know tells his customers if they gonna be having an upcoming sale. When they had the sale, I had asked them if they would price match or give me a different color on which price match is possible. JP's response was that I wanted to get another color laptop because of a different reason I had said earlier. I got the sense that he has an innate tendency of assumption about me. (This is a separate discussion - But In short I had asked him before if they could reverse the charge for the laptop and charge me to a different credit card as I had a new credit card with better cash back. JP said it won't be posssible and I was okay with it.But I stick to my word they have trust issues with most customers.)
Guys buy open box products from BEST BUY , customer service is TOP NOTCH, returns are pain free - they focus on customer satisfaction. Even if you want to buy from any third party seller , BEST BUY will intervene if any issues. You don't have to have headaches and deal with these guys attittude. Most companies collapsed in the last decade because they couldn't match with customer service of Best Buy and Amazon. I would pay more to have less headache in the long...

Do not order from them online or in-store - they struggle to deliver to your door; I ordered a ipad mini 6 and am still waiting (of course with online customer service not helping).
I have used them from the early days and then they were honest - if you see an item that your like online, phone the closest stores one by one and ask if they have any; if they say yes ask the name of the person and ask them to hold it for you. If they no then move on. Do not order it online (even if they might say they have stock in their warehouse) or go into a store even if its says there is stock online; they can't deliver it to you. Its the old story" if you can't touch it and feel it, then it does not exist". Bring you into the store for the old "bait and switch". Take you money for a product that never arrives; and then be r-e-a-l slow with the acknowledgment and eventual refund. Not considered to be ethical business practices but there you go - buyer beware! Its 2 star because if the product is in the store then it is normally at the quality level and price that they stated; I have had no reason to return anything. Check Amazon on pricing though - they have increased their pricing compared to Amazon open box...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered a "Re-furbished" Mac Book M4 Pro and it was almost $700 cheaper than new. The description said "condition GOOD". I don't know what that means but the only thing wrong with this beautiful computer was that the Apple box it came in was slightly crushed on two ends. Other than that it is in perfect condition, no damage, and in new condition, really! It came faster than Amazon can deliver and they sent it via Canada Post. I got it literally 24 hours after ordering it and I live on Vancouver Island. I definitely recommend this place and their online store and in the future I will be using them every time I need anything new! I spoke with two employees and they were both great. They called me back multiple times to help me get what I wanted. I am sorry I don't remember the employee's name that works on SW Marine Drive but he was great and so was JP at the Surrey location which is where the computer was shipped from. I asked JP if he could send it asap and wow, it arrived in 24 hours! Great job JP! I will order all my electronics from you or SW Marine Drive in the future. Now it's time to get to know my new rocket fast M4...
