I'm giving the Roadhouse Grille 3.5 stars because I would tell people to go there for the decor but not necessarily for the food; additionally my companion did not like her food. The decor is the heart and soul of the restaurant, it is exciting and the treasure cave is great for little kids, also it sounds like there is live music on a rotating platform which is awesome. I ordered one of the burgers and enjoyed it fairly well; while not amazing, the patty was different and pretty good. My companion ordered the open face roast beef sandwich with gravy on top; which she described as "tastes like canned gravy, and the cut of meat was not good". She also did get a stomachache after eating it. Both dishes came with "fries" that were really country style potatoes (potato cubes) that were lukewarm. We went in the afternoon on a Friday, there were not many people and service was quite fast. Our server was extremely friendly and we had a great conversation with her. All in all I might go again because the food was decent (but not good or great), the atmosphere was awesome, and the server that we had was really nice. With that said I probably would have given 2 stars without the service because at the end of the day a restaurant should in my opinion be about the food. I would highly suggest that the restaurant changes the description of their "fries" to something else as I did not expect that we would get cubes of potatoes instead of actual fries. Additionally I would highly suggest that they rework the roast beef sandwich as it was uninspired and bland.

The Roadhouse Grill Restaurant This restaurant, located on 1781 King George Boulevard, South Surrey (heading toward Peach Arch Border with U.S.).  Well establish since 1997. The meals prepared here are very tasty: breakfast, lunch and dinner. No matter the time of your arrival, you will be able to satisfy your appetite by ordering either eggs benedict, a club house sandwich, stake or anything else from their menu. The food is consistently good. The service is impeccable.  The ladies and gentlemen who work here are always happy to assist you. The restaurant has various rooms to house a large groups named: Retro Room, Deco Room, Atrium and the Social Lounge. The building is nicely decorated with furniture, pictures, artwork and memorabilia form  around 1950, which make the restaurant ambience enjoyable as you transport yourselves to memory lane. Or to experience for the first time how it used to be. Is wheelchair accessible.  Wheelchair parking accessible. Plenty of regular parking available at front and around the building. The restaurant is not overcrowded, and they are in compliance with the British Columbia health guideline pertaining social distance and cleanliness. Is kept very clean and organized. Open seven days a week : Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 08:00 to 20:00 hours. Monday 08:00 to 15:00 hours. (call to confirm before arrival just in case they might have make changes) Friday and Saturday from 08:00  to 22:00 hours. Visit local business and help rebuild clientele.

We had an incredible breakfast at The Roadhouse Grille! I ordered the Traditional breakfast with ham and eggs over easy—everything was cooked perfectly. I swapped the toast for a pancake, and it was such a great decision—fluffy, golden, and absolutely delicious. The pan fries were crisp and satisfying, and the portion size was more than generous. My husband had the Road Warrior breakfast and loved every bite—it came with all the fixings and was equally tasty. Friendly service, cozy atmosphere, and quality food that hits the spot. Highly recommend for a hearty, satisfying breakfast!

This place is amazing and I've been going there for years, often times with my kids too. No joke, we are here 2 - 3 times per week. I can't imagine how there could ever be anything but a 4+ review here.

The food: It's so fresh (everything is made in house) and made to order, with quality ingredients - everything is delicious from appies to breakfast to the dinners. They even make their own cornbread, which my kids and I love. I've been on various phases of a very strict diet and they will cook my food and cater to that diet (at times no oil or fat at all). They also do not have a deep fryer so you won't get greasy food anyway and I LOVE their baked chicken wings!

The ambiance: It has the coolest decor and in most areas is retro, and in some more modern, so you choose which you want, depending on your mood and occasion. It's great for kids (there's a treasure cave and chest with toys) and great for date night. There's a bar if you want to sit and watch the flat screen, have a beer and watch a game.

The service: I've never had one bad server or service here. From the host/hostess to the owners, they're so friendly. They have taken the time to get to know me and my kids and my kids love coming here. If anything (RARE) ever needs to be adjusted by the kitchen I've just asked and they have no problem fixing it and don't make me feel bad about it :)

They are opening a Roadhouse 2GO next door too. I got this from their website so I'm being accurate. They'll offer "Artisan Gourmet Pizza we'll have some of our fresh and frozen Roadhouse Favourites for you take home, such as our lasagnas, chilis, and soups".

Two doors down they'll soon have a liquor store, which is cool since I live two blocks away!

Go check it out and see all of this...

Excellent food first off, 5* service 2*. It was our first dinner out in 1.5 years. We drive past here all the time and finally had a date night to try it out. From the street it looks small but actually it is a very large space. Very homey when you walk in. We were fortunate to end up in the seating area with a live fella playing a guitar (he was awesome) Sadly for them there were 4 other tables in this area. Our drink and menu order was fairly quick. Nachos full order was too much for us to share with a main course which we learned. No cutlery or napkins on the table yet but no real issue with this appy. Next time we saw our waiter was with our meals (wife ordered one of the main salads) we asked for napkins assuming cutlery was a given. We waited and waited as the waiter was too interested in the live entertainment. After 5 min I got up and asked him for cutlery. He brought 1 set for her. I guess the roasted potatoes with my burger are meant to be finger food in his mind. He did ask how everything was close to our being finished though and at that point a refill on the waters was enough as our drinks have been empty for a long time and too late / no point for a second round. It was quicker to get up and ask for the bill as our plates were never cleared. Sadly we would've had a much larger drink bill had he been more attentive. The fella playing the guitar was fantastic. After one of his sets he came around and asked if we had any requests - a very kind and thoughtful thing to do I'd say. Over all we will be back and hopefully it was a one off for service in this...
