So I ordered this through skip the dishes tonight. This is the first time I or anyone in my family has ever eaten here.
The food is excellent, the sandwhiches looked about as good as they did in the pictures on skip. Generally the whole family enjoyed. My mother loved the tomato bisque soup and I have to say the French fries are perfect. The sandwichâs themselves are excellent not to greasy good amount of toppings and flavourful ingredients. I was a little uncertain of there butter milk dill sauce but I have to say it one me over.
The staff was also kind enough to write on the packaging what each sandwich order was so I could easily hand them out.
My only issue and it is a big one is the price. Having worked in the food industry literally my entire life and having a chef for a father I found the pricing to be higher than I would expect. The sandwiches them selves arenât badly priced the issue is that they hate just the sandwhich. To give an example I paid 15.26 plus tax for the bacon chicken ranch melt, then another 4.65 for a small fry. Now the small fry is a great portion I would say it is closer to what I deem is a medium that being said charging four dollars almost five for a medium fry even if fresh is a bit high. If the small was the size of the large I might think that be a bit closer to the a fair price but the large is 7 dollars and change.
If the sandwich had been 15 as a combo or even 16 or 17 and includes a am fry and fountain drink I think it would be perfect to make me comeback time and time again. Currently at the prices if Iâm looking for a quick bit to eat Iâm not sure at its current price would drive me to seek it out with cheaper options. The food is good but those few dollars extra arenât worth it enough to go to often. Once in a while if Iâm really craving a grilled cheese with some...
Read moreI havenât eaten here in a long time. My daughter was craving for good grilled cheese and this place did not disappoint.
She had the classic grilled cheese with the sourdough bread and I had the Tattoed chicken sandwich. My daughter thought the bread their using now is a different type but still taste just as good. My Tattooed sandwich is the ideal comfort food. The cheese is melted good and the pesto sauce is a nice touch, the bacon wasnât as crispy as I expected but still good, the chicken is good portion; overall both sandwiches are delicious and we really enjoyed it. I usually donât finish a sandwich but this time I had it down to the last bite. We were gonna order the milkshake too but we were just too full Iâve had it before and itâs a must try. Make sure you save some room.
The restaurant is well maintained, clean and organized, even the washrooms clean and tidy. They even have some games on the table to enjoy if youâre hanging around. The cashier is really nice and friendly, even the other associate working with him checked up on us; great...

monster melt (ft grilled cheese buns!!!) and the korean bbq philly cheesesteak with large tater tots. MM was huge and delicious! philly meat was so tender and flavourful but Iâd opt for the regular than the âKorean bbqâ sauce as it didnât really pack enough punch but itâs a limited edition so I figured Iâd try it. tater tots were perfectly crispy and theyâre my fav because not many places offer them anymore đ
The staff were really nice as I asked for recommendations! I think this location has tough competition with five guys and subway (being more popularly named franchises) but Iâm glad i tried meltwich and canât wait to recommend them to others if theyâre in the area! Affordable in terms of similar competition for fast food joints. It was a clean interior and there is a gender neutral bathroom for use as well. No stairs in the vicinity so mobility wise is easier to navigate through if you require more space...
