I've been around Tim's for over 30 years and what I've learned is that the customer service has gone downhill. You have to forcibly come up with something humours to see a smile most times on the faces that serves you. As of these days and it's been awhile now and I've seen it where their is not even an expression on the servers faces. I understand being in this covid 19 situation we all should be wearing a mask, but when you got customers coming in and the staff yells out hey!! do you have a mask? instead of excuse me can you please wear a mask? It's not the way to treat your customer. Back in the day it was one of the reason I'd go to Tims because of the friendly staff. Because my car is uninsured right now I can't get to the Tims in Pittmeadow, BC from Surrey, BC the place I was going every Sunday as a treat and for reason was the staff. That location had smiley faces from what I remember, but it's been awhile seen I've been there. Anyhow it's an example how other in your location should be. I've also have witnessed your staff arguing and yelling over the counter in there Filipino language and how people around me and across the floor were appalled by their actions was not nice when your looking for a peaceful enjoyable time. They should have been a little more professional as they should be in other circumstances that I've seen. And really too many street people at times with their heads hunched over on the table, sleeping and just the other day an individual was sitting on the floor in a spot not be seen with many many of their belongings. Now that was disgusting. Unfortunately it is Surrey with many drug addicts for sure not an easy thing to handle, but they do occupy seats with no drinks nor food and then I see a good paying customer leave cause no where to sit. Read moreThe staff here are liars and they are rude as can be. Every day when I go to my usual Tim hortons to get my medium 1 cream 3 sugar 8 shots of espresso which costs me 10.53 (with a double cup) I have no problems. I came to this one at like 7 pm got my coffee and left. The girl who made my coffee was rude as can be. I made the mistake of tasting the coffee while heading home instead of right there. It tasted like they poured half a cup of sugar in my coffee. Disgusting. So husband an I called up. A guy answered we then went on to explained that she put to much sugar in or they need to recalibrate their machine so he says “let me go ask her” and comes back and tells us no she says she only put 3 sugars in and when my husband said “when I’m paying 10.53 for coffee I expect it exactly what I want” so he goes off and talks to 1 girl who made our coffee who at this point was screaming then the other girl who was working the til starts yelling. Guy gets back on the phone and tells us he’s not going to remake our coffee because they both witnessed her make it and only put 3 sugars in. The guy and the other girl was a liar! He was in the back the whole time and the other girl didn’t leave the til. Order contained 3 things. 1 farmers wrap, 1 farmers breakfast sandwich, and one hash brown.
1st - tried to give me two wraps and a hash brown 2nd - tried to give me a wrap and the wrong breakfast sandwich 3rd - lazily put a hash brown into a breakfast sandwich, called it a farmers one and didn't put on any sauce.
I unfortunately didn't check the 3rd time and went home with the wrong item. I called and spoke to manager Priya at 1:20pm on Sept 14, same day it happened and she assured me I could get a full refund (which I hadn't expected). Great. She said I could come tomorrow, or any time I could make it. I came back today, Sept 19, at 4:40pm and Priya was not in. Considering Priya said she took my info (why else would she ask for it???) and put it aside for when I come in I didn't think I'd have any issue...
Of course, no one had any idea about this, didn't just deal with it, told me that even though I used a reward I couldn't get that back either.
I'm going to save myself a further headache trying to get this refund and just avoid this place like the plague.
So happy to have wasted my time dealing with this place, driving to and from, and writing this dumb review.
