DONAIR BROS offers phenomenal food! From a fast food type of setting based review:

I’ve been greeted and treated with the best customer service! The brothers go above and beyond my expectations each time!! Very kind, humble and approachable! They know me by my first name! It’s not a transaction when I go there, ITS AN EXPERIENCE and I feel welcomed!

When I visited from out of town, a family member of mine mentioned how good their double patty burgers are, especially with jalapeños! I went and tried not expecting much, but WOW was I shocked at how good the burgers are really made. The places in north side and 23rd ave Main Street were the two top competitors that have trickled down my list and Donair Bros is on TOP! I mentioned this to the brothers as well!

The surprising thing is, I ordered food from them today and they had my family members designation on the container of jalapeños that I forgot to mention in the order. This made me write this review!!

Keep up the hard work, service, consistency and great food gents! I know and can only imagine how hard it must be for you guys because customer service is a demanding environment especially in the food industry!

Man I love this place!!

Pros: -Great tasting donairs. Sauce, meat, everything. -extremely kind and gracious staff -fast! Orders are quick -clean, place looks sharp, always -getting extra sauce on the side comes in a big enough container that you can actually dip your donair. Make it saucy baby! So perfect. -price is solid and fair -simple, easy menu. Straight forward choices. -a unique trait that makes a helluva difference eating wise. They push in the ends in with their thumb or something I dunno, once the donair is wrapped. So you get an even, locked-in donair throughout.

It's like these dudes worked in donair shops on whyte and Jasper Ave. Took what they learned and opened their own spot with the best of both areas.

Cons: Literally none. Its a donair joint done well. My only personal gripe is wishing they were open later during the week. But that's only because I work evenings. The hours are fine. Late one the weekends is awesome. Not even really a gripe, I mean I would just eat more donairs if they were open later. Which probably isn't great lol

I'm a Donair addict! Been eating them for over 4 decades and had them from coast to coast. Donair here was decent. I've been in hundreds of Donair shops before and this was a first for me. I don't know how to describe what I saw, so much effort by 3 people on same order. I watched them put 2 skip orders together then start on my 2 Donair afterwards. I have never waited 20 minutes for 2 Donair before. I think when you focus on delivery, dining room experience suffers. A few customers wished them a great night as they were leaving and none of the staff looked up to acknowledge the custom leaving, too busy I guess. Disclaimer: I was told that I would be getting freshly cooked meat and also offered free food for my long wait and passed on the free offer as I am under the impression that their way of putting orders together is why it took so long. I think they should close the dining room and become a ghost kitchen instead so they can focus on delivery. If the owners read this, do yourself a favor and spend time at Swiss Donair to understand why I'm being so critical of the less than experience I...
