KFC — Restaurant in Terwillegar Heights

Original post 21st July 2018 MOLDY FOOD !!! Just ordered two chicken flat bread $5 fill up at the drive thru with my husband. We asked for plain mayo on the flat breads, and they confirmed it at the window when paying, had to drive back and go in, as we were given spicy mayo, was happy that the staff member apologized and gave a replacement. Then I ate my cold fries, took a bite of the flat bread and promptly spat it back out, as it tasted vile, so I checked my husbands food, the flatbread was full of green and black mold. So we drove back again, when I went back in, I asked to speak to a manager and was told there wasn’t one working, and the on duty supervisor I had to speak with barely understood English, and therefore wasn’t understanding my complaint. Wish I was able to put the photos I took, here with the review.

Edit: Since my review, and a email to kfc, kfc have reached out to me and apologised, which we appreciated. I was assured that more training will be done, and hopefully in time I can give this location...

There's usually some minor thing wrong with the order, but this time there's a whole lot. Two spicy sandwiches came out regular. Not to mention the amount of chicken you get in the copycat Popeyes-style Famous Chicken sandwich gets smaller every time, and tonight was no exception. Corn was just dry, unflavoured corn, so that doesn't help.

And this seems like such a stupid minor thing, but it seriously happens exactly every time. If you order something that's supposed to come with a dip, you HAVE to explicitly ask for it. If you don't, they won't just give you a default option, they just won't give you one at all. Imagine you order a combo and then you specifically have to say "don't forget the fries" or you don't get any. I don't know how every different worker manages to forget the dip every time, so i can only assume it's a directive coming down from the owner so he can save ten cents per order and buy himself a monthly massage to help recover from all the hard work he does being so cheap so...

Ordered a Double Down, a Zinger sandwich, and two Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunches just after 1AM this morning.

They lied and told me there is only one type of Double Down, when I have ordered spicy Double Downs multiple times at other locations.

The one who prepared our food touched his phone (one of the filthiest things you can touch) and then handled our food right after. At one point he took his gloves off and proceeded to continue to prepare our food and stock taco shells without having washed his hands after removing his gloves. He was also wearing a bracelet. It is against standard food safety practices to wear bracelets or rings while preparing customers' food.

The icing on the cake was that all our food was stale and cold when we got home 3 minutes later and the Double Down was so cold and stale that it seemed like it was made 24 hours ago and then left out in room temperature waiting to be sold.
