Panago Pizza — Restaurant in Terwillegar Heights

Usually I come here in person, but ordered off Uber eats this time as it’s late, and snowy out. My pizza came fast. Almost too fast. When it got here, it was the wrong kind of pizza! (I ordered tropical Hawaiian), and you sent me a Hawaiian with tomato sauce and bacon instead. Defeated the whole purpose of spending 50$ on pizza when I could’ve chosen another restaurant for much, much cheaper. To make matters worse, the pizza wasn’t cut all the way through and was over cooked; making it impossible to pull the pieces apart without them falling apart. Sure, I could go get a knife, and cut it myself in the kitchen at 12:30 at night, but I’ll wake my family up, and I paid for a service, not a self service. Not to mention toppings being pretty sparse for a pizza that costs an arm and a leg, and isn’t the one I ordered. I’m seriously unimpressed by this experience with panago. I choose you guys because I’ve had years of history ordering pizza from this location, I’ve lived down the road for 10 years, and I’ve always been happy when I do take out, but this was severely disappointing, and the lack of care, and effort put into this is surprising to me coming from this restaurant. I really hope this isn’t a common thing when they are doing delivery, because of course through Uber eats there is zero accountability from the restaurant to the consumer. First time ordering from this location. Dough was chewy and had no rise to the crust. Pizza also wasn’t cut properly. Probably the lowest quality Panago I’ve had in some time. Not sure how Panago has chagnged their ingredients, or if franchise ownership chooses what to use but this straight up tasted like frozen pizza. Super low quality cheese and ingredients, not what it was 20 years ago even remotely. High prices combined with low quality make for a unsatisfying purchase. Competitors like Domino’s have somehow been significantly better as of recent, both in price and quality, something I thought I’d never say. Lewis Estates location- Tuesday night dinner was the plant-based Mediterranean- original crust pizza and an order of the ‘Duo-Side’ Plant-based chicken and Cheesy bread. BTW, the staff are always courteous and efficient here. 😊 Pizza smelled so good and tasted even better! We were very impressed with the texture, appearance and flavour of the ‘chicken’ tenders and cheesy bread!
