McDonald's — Restaurant in The Meadows

Absolutely ridiculous service given by the manager Dancy. We ordered 5 drinks and get asked to pull to the third window, okay no problem. So we’re waiting and it takes 10 minutes, not a big deal they’re busy it happens. We finally get our drinks and we’re missing one of them so we continue to sit and wait thinking they were going to bring it out.. the manager Dancy opens the window and asks if everything was okay and we said we were still waiting on one more coffee. He leaves and brings the receipt out and says it wasn’t on the receipt.. so obviously the drive through employee missed it and asks us how we want to pay, we say debit. He then says there’s no machine at the 3rd window so we have to drive around again to order it.. which means waiting in that line again after we’ve already been waiting for 15 minutes for DRINKS, no food. We expressed that we don’t want to wait in that line again and we’ve already been waiting 15 minutes, he says “well hot chocolate takes time to make” okay I get that but I’m not waiting in that line again because your employee missed an item and you don’t have a way for me to pay at that window. This was not our fault, we clearly said a triple triple and they didn’t enter it nor did they read the order back to us and the screen at the drive through wasn’t showing our order either. Absolutely ridiculously expecting someone who’s already waited 15 minutes to drive around again and wait again for a mistake made by an employee and not having a way for us to pay when we were more than willing to pay for it. This location has games that your kids can play, or did when I was there last. These games will keep your kids engaged, since it does not possess a ball pit. Often somebody will walk around the restaurant and make sure everyone's meals are good and such, which is a nice touch considering it is a Mcdonalds. Also has outlets for charging devices.

I used to sit here for hours a day, since coffee refills are free. I was never spoken to rudely by the staff. Also, not many people know this, but the coupon brochures you get that you can rip out are reusable, so once you scan your coupon, you can pocket it and use it again. Also, you can collect the coffee stickers for free coffee and also track your coffee purchases on their App, essentially doubling the amount of free coffee you can get and their app usually hosts a deal on coffee, like 90% of the time.

One thing you should definitely do is use the Kiosk to order your food, as there is a language barrier between the workers and my orders, ordered at the counter have not always been right, but I try not to judge harshly, since the food is always right when ordered on the Kiosk.

Overall, this location, in terms of Mcdonalds, is probably one of the best in the city and hopefully the staff continues their diligent...

Always disappointment with this McDonald’s. Doesn’t matter if you order at the location or home delivery, they are gonna give uh stale food. The location is hardly 2 mins away from our home like seriously. Let’s talk about today i ordered at the kiosk but went to the counter to pay so that i can tell them to make my food fresh. Ordered junior chicken and poutine. Poutine needs to be sizzling hot and this is common sense but then also i asked them to make my food fresh. I waited like more than 10 minutes to get the payment done and get my food. That was a takeout order. I gave my order to a shift leader and asked her to make my poutine fresh and fill it upto where it’s supposed to be filled but after i reached home i found out my poutine was half the quantity and the cheese curds were not melted at all because the fries were not fresh. I have never expected this on the part of the manager. The management should train their staff properly. After seeing all the reviews i should bot expect something but still. If you will not serve the customers in better way then ur ratings are going to fall even below 3.2 which is already a worse rating McDonald’s can ever have.
