Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Thunder Bay

The attitude from the staff here are outrageous. I place my order and the guy listing just says what? What? And I'm speaking loud. Then I get up and have to argue about my drink and it not being made right. I said to the guy if you make another one the exact way I said. And I'm wrong on the looks I'll buy both. As they were telling me they made my drink with extra cream telling me I'M THE ONE who's wrong. (MEd ice cap made with extra cream) I know what it looks like. So when it comes.. I put the two beside and I said looks like I was right. Guy says to me... Whatever take your drink and leave. Yeah I won't step back on the property.

This is also one of the worst locations to try and steal your change. My drink is $3.14 and I'll give 3.25 they'll hand me my drink and say bye....no..thats not how this goes. I buy one drink daily that would be $36.50 for the year of loss to staff who make min wage. Waitresses make less than min wage for a reason. Please stop trying to steal my money. I shouldn't have to ask...

Just got ripped off. I ordered a large coffee. Got to the counter and paid with gift card. She took the card to pay and told me I was missing $2.00. I had $13.00 on the card. I told her that I only ordered a large coffee. After 5 minutes I received my coffee and the lady said I only have 2 cents left on the card. I always go to another Tim. This one really sucks. The staff don't care. My girlfriend went to order the steak and egg on a biscuit. Got the biscuit and the egg. No steak cheese or sauce. Takes for ever to get one coffee and when you get to the window staff talk among themselves and make you wait. I left after waiting a minute. I could see my coffee on the counter while they were all laughing. To bad the owner doesn't look at the shared experience people write. Things might have changed. I still will drive across town for another Tim, even if I live 3 minutes away...

I will say that this store and the other Arthur street store decorates the donuts best of all the stores I go to on the south side. Some of the stores just douse the donuts in frosting a half inch thick but these two stores are perfect.

My concerns come with the quality of the coffee cups and the coffee itself lately.

Almost every time I try opening their cup lids, I spill coffee. And the shape of the lids is just not conducive to sipping. Almost every time I sip I spill coffee in my vehicle. They need to go back to the old lids and cups. The new ones are terrible

Now the coffee. I always get a double double. But lately I’ve noticed the coffee doesn’t have kick anymore. There’s no flavor. It’s gotten weak and bland lately and I don’t know why. I find myself craving MCD coffee more so I will be going there more for coffee...
