My husband and I ordered food from here through Doordash (they go by “Alexander Falafel” there. I don’t normally speak for the meat dishes that I don’t eat, but my husband’s food was not cooked. It looked okay on the outside, but once a bite was taken it was chewy and bright pink. It was pink chicken in a chicken and lamb kabob plate. We had to fry up his meat portions just so he had an edible dinner. As for mine, (vegan) falafel platter, the flavours were good except the falafels were as hard as old timbits. My metal fork even had a tough time piercing through. It was almost like they got their cooking times off between his and my order. The veggies were fresh, the rice had lentils and beans, the hot sauce was flavourful, but the proteins were less than manageable.

The wrap was pretty cheap at 8.99$ for the chicken shawarma but was rather small and the chicken was super dry. I didn't get a photo of the meat turners but both the chicken and beef were near the end and looked super dry. I almost decided to cancel my order after seeing that but decided to try it anyways incase. They had pretty standard tasting humus and sauces which saved the wrap a bit. The place has standard toppings you'd see at most shawarma places. The one good thing was the person helping me made the wrap pretty fast. Also while grilling the chicken add water to try to make it less dry.

Food is great, service is friendly and nice. The first time I had shawarma wrap, it was very tasty, so I went there again and the second time was nice too but had too much pickle in it so it made it too sour for me :). But overall good place. Tarik is friendly and nice he added some extra chicken pieces for me. Thank you Tarik !

Ordered a small poutine that showed it was $6.99 on their menu. I got charged more than $10. When I asked the cashier, the old man in the back in charge of preparing the food said "pluzz tax, pluzz tax". The middle-aged guy working as the cashier crumpled up the receipt and put it in the register. I told him I would like to have the receipt. "printer not working maam". I told him I would like to have the piece of paper he put in the register. He discreetly handed me back $2. The two had a short bicker in their language. The old man I assume was arguing with him about why he gave me back the $2, and the younger man whispering that I was on to them. The poutine was pretty nasty, he sprinkled it with yogurt instead of curd. The gravy was also disgusting and cold. Fries were luke-warm. Also no cheese. I'm definitely never eating there again. Disgusting thieves, crooks, and liars making...

I used to frequent this place Saturday nights after the bar. I was grateful that it was open late and that the staff were pleasant and willing to deal with the drunkards.

Notably, shawarma is cheap and I'm happy these guys keep it standard with the prices. I'd usually get a combo which was a bit over $10 but it gave you a wrap, fries, and a drink. Not too bad.

Went back recently after having not been there for a couple years and I was happy to see the same people serving up the same quality shawarma (although I got falafel this time.) Taking a bite out of that wrap unlocked a bunch of memories and good food would do that for you.

Don't skip it. It's a...
