3.72 rounded to a 4 We visited this spot for breakfast on a Saturday morning. It wasn't too busy when we arrived. The place is indeed rustic and cute, and the staff was friendly, though they always seemed to be in a rush.

I ordered the SEC (sausage) bagel and made sure to emphasize my order to the cashier because I was worried they might give me bacon. Lo and behold, they did get my order wrong and gave me bacon instead lol. Since the sandwiches took a bit long to make, I didn't ask them to fix it (plus, my people-pleasing tendencies make it hard for me to point out mistakes—which is why I stressed my sausage order in the first place).

Aside from the mix-up, the bagel was okay—cheesy and satisfying, but I found it a bit bland. I didn’t get much of the garlic aioli flavor. My partner got the Nicole breakfast wrap. He didn't enjoy it, but I thought it was nice. We also ordered a cappuccino, which was just okay.

Overall, it’s a cute spot for breakfast or coffee if you’re in the area, but I personally wouldn’t come back a...

Decided to pop in here one afternoon to grab a coffee. I really enjoyed the decor when I first walked in. The large logo they have on the wall is extremely well done and gives it a very warm vibe when you first walk in. Their patio out back is also absolutely stunning. This is where the good things seem to end though. The woman who served me was Candy, right from the start she seemed extremely confrontational and almost bitter that I was there. It was moderately busy but nothing too crazy. As I got to the counter she became extremely curt with me, telling me to “be patient we’re busy” in a pretty snarky tone. Ordered a latte and the milk wasn’t steamed at all, I wanted to say something but I was worried she would blow a gasket at me for it. It’s unfortunate that she’s the person who was representing the cafe at the time. I won’t be returning here, it was definitely one of the worst customer service experiences...

This is one of my "go-to" neighborhood restaurants. They have a very good variety of breakfast choices, and are always offering suggestions for the vegetarian or vegan crowd. There are many delicious bagel choices as well, and both the coffee and the juices are very good. I am particularly fond of some fresh smoothies they sell (no sugar) and their orange juice, which is something I sometimes crave. The salad is a nice spring mix, and in general all breakfast dishes are well made. It is also one of the few places in this strip serving full breakfast that opens early-ish, and has good quality coffee. The others will only offer scones and muffins! (they have baked goods too, but I have not...

Great vibe if you are interested in places with character, vegan fare and Java. There are many items that are homemade, and the decor is definitely vintage with sensible stools. I had the pesto chicken, Asiago and spinach that was perfectly seasoned within a good portion of tasty home fries. My guest also had the raspberry chocolate cheesecake. Another fine rendition of wholesome baked goods for those in need of pampering. Drop Java is reasonable and customers are plenty at the lunch time crowd. Take out is the seemingly popular mode but the low row of seats will draw in the students. Love the cookies and Java hits the spot. There is a cooler for drinks, a freezer for Honey ice cream.

Blonde woman behind the cash has a serious attitude problem. Why have some sort of self righteous attitude because someone asked “Can I get a straw, please?” There was no issue saying no, but what’s your point making fun of someone for asking politely? Asking for a straw (paper ones exist) isn’t an insane question to ask when getting a drink. Making fun of a person within earshot as soon as they step away for simply asking for a straw is straight up bully behaviour. Embarrassing a grown person would act so rude. Drinks were bad, below Tim’s quality. Iced vanilla latte tasted like chemicals and strawberry black tea was basically fruit punch. Avoid this place.

I got the vegan & cosmo bagel (a classic smoked salmon) and they were delicious. The bagels tasted fresh and I loved the cream cheese that came with the cosmo. The Vegan bagel just hit and the garlic aioli was a great touch, but would def add on some veggies next round. I enjoyed the matcha, it wasn’t anything crazy but a lot better compared to most spots where it’s mainly milk you’re drinking. A 3/5 for matcha grade. The homefries were a tad disappointing as some were cold/over cooked while others were warm/undercooked. I think we were served a set of fresh and old. unsure if I’d reorder the fries, but slay on the seasoning.
