My favorite Filipino Bakery in the GTA. i regularly drive the 40 mins to Baker's Best just to get my Pandesal and other Filipino baked goods (that's considering there are 3 Filipino bakeries closer to my house in Mississauga).
Their Pandesal (regular or whole wheat) is simply THE BEST !! Throw the bag in the fridge and they'll stay good for 2-3 weeks. Pop them in the oven/toaster oven to reheat and they're just as good as freshly baked. Their Cassava and Biko are excellent as well. Their Ube-Macapuno is great when heated and with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream on top. For a treat try their Custard Cake - think of Leche Flan on top of soft Mamon.
Their prices are great and the service is always Friendly and with a smile. Cash or Debit. Take the TTC Bus or the TTC (take the car) to get there. Steeles Ave East between Midland & Brimley.
Just a tip - call ahead to reserve your order if you plan on going on a Saturday. Cause...

Warm it up in the oven, the smell of bread will fill your kitchen. When you break into the crusty bread for the soft and chewy inside it's so good. The monay is a family favorite and doesn't last long in our house.
The Sago and halohalo isđŻ
If it's around Easter or Christmas be sure to pre-order since they have limited inventory.
We love your bread, please keep doing what you're doing and don't change...

I like that the cakes are sold by slice (2.25 per one slice). I wish the pies were sold by slice too
The Vanilla cake tasted similar to Japanese and Korean castella cakes. This was way too sweet for my taste
The Pan de Coco (3.75 per 3 rolls) was delicious
The Pork empanadas are not always available for sale, so it's advisable that you call...
