This place could be so much better with just a bit more effort. The chicken is just OK. The boneless chicken pieces are tasty and crispy, but the bone in chicken is just weird. The boneless chicken uses a dry breading, that's the way it should be for KFC. But the bone in chicken they use a wet batter giving the chicken crust a consistency to fish you'd find on a fish and chip dinner. Its tasty but the texture is just wrong for KFC. The server was friendly and attentive. One star off however for the absolutely frigid temperature of the restaurant. It was 6C outside during our visit and I'm sure it was the same temp inside the restaurant. The staff were dressed in tshirts, but all the customers were wearing their coats. I'm assuming the staff turned off the heat to control the temperature in the kitchen at the expensive of customer comfort. That's just inconsiderate. An additional star off for the men's bathroom, the toilet was out of order, that's just unacceptable. You guys need to try harder.

The meal I had at BBQ Chicken on Spadina was so exceptional it demands five stars and a full recommendation. This isn't just good chicken—it's culinary perfection. The wings: without a doubt, are the best chicken wings I have ever had in my life. The crispy-to-juicy ratio is impeccable, and the flavor is utterly unforgettable. Beyond the taste, the portion size was absolutely massive; you genuinely get incredible value here. The real showstopper, a dish you absolutely must try, is the Galbi Q. The blend of flavors in this dish is nothing short of majestic. It hits every note—sweet, savory, and perfectly balanced, creating a harmonious taste that elevates classic BBQ into something truly special. If you are looking for generous portions, the highest quality chicken, and a divine flavor experience, skip the rest and head straight here. This is a new favorite, and I'm already planning my next visit! Huge shout out to Yuti for making our dining experience incredibly enjoyable and memorable!

I love food at this location. I've ordered the same food from the other location on Yonge street, four times when they were doing promotion. It was such a dissapointment. The fried chicken tasted like going bad and I found tiny blue things underneath the batter. Not to mention that the portion of the combo was so small and seasoning was not enough to taste flavor. But this location is so good. Cheesling seasoning is always generous as well as the portion of fries. Their fried chicken is always crispy with rich flavor. I've been ordering food from here since 2022, two to four times every month. The quality of food is consistant and I'm very happy with it. The only downside is the opening time is not consistant. I hope they make delivery available on food delivery apps at 11:30 am as they advertise.

It doesn't really matter how good the fried chicken is. This place is not worth the trouble. I refuse to ever see this restaurant ever again for the rest of my life and the next.

On Sept 19 at 12:00 noon, I used their app to order some food for me to pick up. Everything went well with the order process, the payment went through (almost $40), and it said the order should be ready in around 30 minutes. I took a walk to the restaurant which is supposed to be open at 11:00 am, and I arrived at 12:30 pm. The doors were locked. THE RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED.

The very first thing I thought about why they let the order go through in the first place if the restaurant is not open. There was a phone number in the messages (647-xxx-xxxx) I get about the order, so I tried to call that, but the phone number does not work. There was literally NO ONE to contact about this. I saw someone inside the restaurant through the glass storefront and it looks like the person who helps with the cooking. When he saw me, he came out and asked if I wanted something. Well, yeah, I wanted the food I ordered. But he said they were closed and the owner was not there. They were supposed to be open at 11:00 am and they were not, and they allowed my order which cost me money to go through. And there was literally no one to contact about this.

I went home, and I called tried to call the restaurant using the phone number on Google Maps, which was different from the one in the app. Apparently, at this point which was around 1:40 pm, they were open and that my order was ready for pickup. I could no longer go because I was working and it was already too late. How am I supposed to pick this up?

This is one of the biggest fiascos I have ever seen a restaurant trip themselves over into. Right at the very beginning, if they think they could not be open on time, why did they allow my order and my payment to go through? And then making the order almost 2 hours after the order was placed. Did they expect me to wait outside their closed restaurant for another hour not knowing what to expect? That is absolutely ridiculous and makes zero sense.

I had asked for a refund because they allowed an order to go through that they were physically unable to complete. The manager who texted me said that I would get my refund. Well, it is now Oct 1 and I checked my banking statements; I NEVER RECEIVED MY REFUND. They took my money and ran away with it. That money could have went somewhere else that was actually useful.

I didn't want to post this review, especially since the manager said they would refund me. But since I never got my money back, I think it's time to post this review so that everyone knows how this restaurant works. After this extremely stressful and truly insulting experience, I vow to never come anywhere near this restaurant, not only in this life and the next, but the next 10...

Recently I went to this shop for the first time. I got some take out and i ordered the Red Chak Chak chicken I was at first surprised by the expensive price which is over $20 dollars, but I was very satisfied with the quality of the chicken. It was the first time my parents and I had tasted chicken this good. It was so good that my parents decided to go and eat again by themselves. By the way my parents are in their 80s, and i was really happy to see them this excited by food. They came back very unhappy. The Red Chak Chak we had taken out the first time was seasoned just right so that the heat from the spice was just right and it wasnt too red in colour. This time when they went in person, the Red Chak Chak it was totally red smothered with red spice powder that was completely different from the first chicken we had. It was also overly spicy and salty as well. My parents couldnt understand why the chicken was this different from the first time. My parents wanted to give it another chance so they wanted to order another one and they asked the girl at the counter if they could get it with less seasoning powder on it as it was too much and they explained how the chicken was the first time, but the girl refused saying that's how it always is and refused to change it. My parents came back empty handed. I was so happy to find a place with good food for my elderly parents to eat, but I am absolutely appauled at this situation. I am absolutely angry that i had to see the look of disappointment in the faces of my elderly parents. Was it so wrong that they asked for LESS seasoning on their next order because it...

The service was really really bad. We had a party of 8 and the only table in the restaurant at that time but they weren't attentive? One of us had a peanut allergy and they had no food on the menu that was safe to eat for them. They let us buy something from another place for that friend, but they weren't really nice about it either. When we ordered an item, they went back into the kitchen for a while and came back out to tell us they didn't have that. We asked for another item and they went back to the kitchen to tell us they didn't have that either. We asked then "what do you have?" If they didn't have items available, they should've told us from the start and been more knowledgeable. The chicken was tasty and the free sides are nice. But half of our items did not come at the same time and it took a while for the second half to come. They did not apologize for anything either. Overall, I felt like a lot of the staff was just standing around and laughing at us. Like they knew something we didn't. When my friends who are super kind, make passive aggressive, yet humorous comments, that's when you know...
