Disappointing Experience!
I recently ordered a gourmet pizza from here on August 3rd, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Here’s why:
Pizza Quality: The pizza arrived with overcooked, rock-hard dough. Despite paying for three extra toppings, there were hardly any visible toppings. The thin tomato sauce lacked flavour, leaving me with what felt like an overcooked piece of bread.
Customer Service Failures: After calling to complain about the poor quality, they promised to send a replacement pizza with “fresh ingredients” within 40 minutes. However, two hours later, no pizza arrived. When I called again, they confirmed my address, but it turned out they had sent the replacement pizza to the wrong location! Requesting a refund, I was assured the manager would call me back. Unfortunately, no one reached out, even after I sent an email to their management address.
Lack of Courtesy: It’s disappointing that they haven't responded to my concerns. As a customer, I expect at least a courtesy reply when I’ve had such a negative experience.
I won’t be ordering from here again. Their poor customer service and subpar food quality are...
Read moreThe reviews online were good(but some good ones seem suspiciously fake and made up) so our team decided to give them a try. The place opened only in 2017, is run by employees and far from being a GOURMET pizza shop. The taste and texture of the pizza was good with good quantity of toppings. The order process was fairly simple too. However, when we went to pick up the pizza, the place looked liked it was not up to the mark in terms of basic hygiene or even face masks amid Covid. The employee making pizza with bare hands moved freely between cash counter and work table where he was stretching another pizza. Didn't wash his hands after touching cash counter and computer. The mask was hanging over the chin and nose exposed. They have a walk in/pick up menu where the large 2 topping pizza is some $13 and change but the employee charged us $24 for a 3 topping pizza and upon inquiry used broken sentences to make up an excuse.
One line review: If poor hygiene standards are not an issue to you , this is a good place for walk in or pick up ONLY.
PS: Poor customer service as no one has emailed us back after our team emailed the Owner as per the...
Read moreI really REALLY wanted this to be good. And I was hesitant to leave a review to begin with, because I feel for small businesses. But if you’re going to charge me $30 for a medium pizza! Make sure I’m getting premium ingredients for a premium price! I’d even be okay with spending that on a small pizza, if it meant that I was getting top notch quality. The tomato sauce tasted like no frills no name brand sauce, the parmigiana cheese tasted like Kraft shake cheese, the doe smells like it was sitting in an old wooden cupboard for a day! I love Chicago deep dish pizza, and in Toronto - there’s very limited options for this style. I travelled across the city to try these guys out, and now I don’t even want to finish the rest of this pizza. I only ate 2 slices, of an 8 slice pizza, and I’m willing to cut my loses on the other $22.50 ($30/8= $3.75/slice x2 slices = $7.50).
I say this constructively to the owner and or manager. Spend a little money on your ingredients, and people will be happy to spend their money with you. But after my experience tonight, this will be the last $30 I spend with you.
I...
