We didn’t have a great experience here. There were only two waitresses working on trivia night, and although the restaurant was only about half full (and it’s not a big place), it still took quite a while to place our order. Drinks came first but it was a long time before anyone came back for our food order. Once placed, the food took a while, though since we were playing trivia we didn’t mind the wait as much. When the food arrived, my partner didn’t get the main dish he ordered. We had to go up to the bar to get this corrected. The waitress apologized and offered the meal for free, but my partner was frustrated enough to decline. The menu itself was riddled with errors—spelling mistakes, ingredient mix-ups (like orange bitters listed in a Caesar), and duplicate items with different prices (Heineken showed up twice at two different prices). When we pointed this out, staff admitted the menu had errors and needed to be reprinted. At the very least, the lower listed price should have been honored, but it wasn’t. On top of that, they had multiple Instagram posts advertising 30% off food until September 10 (the day we were there), but we were told it had actually ended on September 8. They apologized and offered 10% off instead, which felt unacceptable—if it’s advertised until a certain date, it should be honored. I know they are a newer business and have some growing to do, but the number of errors on the menu and the way these issues were handled really stood out. The food itself was good, and the trivia host was excellent, but based on this experience I’d be hesitant to return.

Went over for a weekend lunch at Leo's and was pleasantly surprised by the heartiness of the food. Hot summer day + cool beer + good food = perfect! Service was attentive and always with a smile. It's a sports bar nicely set up for watching games, and looks like they've put a lot of thought into their menu. Their deals are great too, all the way from Monday to Sunday, and some extras on game days. My fav was the Leo rub wings (hmm hard to describe, in a good way, maybe like fuego takis? yum!) and the peppercorn steak. The steak was on the lean side but so very tender. Came with lots of veggies. Their cheeseburger springs rolls reminded me of Disneyland. They have a proper pizza oven too. Would love to come back with more friends to try even more of their food and drinks. A perfect day off would be a hike at Scarb bluffs and then a cool drink here.

This restaurant is serving up all the Classic Bar and Grill Staples, but they also have unique items such as Mutton Pizza, Goat Poutine and even an in-house Wood Fire Pizza Stove! They have daily specials available including wing days, pizza offers, fish & chips, and happy hour specials. (See photo) Staff were friendly and there's lots of TVs for your viewing needs. There's also a beautiful Toronto theme Mural on the interior wall. Food tasted great. The wings were nice and meaty. The southern fried chicken sandwich had large hunks of chicken on it. The cheeseburger spring rolls were standout; The perfect fusion dish. I would 100% come back and try some of their other dishes. The goat Poutine is honestly calling my name

I went to this new local restaurant and I really wanted to like it cause I like to support local, but I won’t be going back. I don’t want to spend my hard earned pennies for such a mediocre place.

Bathroom: The railing on the stairs to go down is sticky. It’s gross to hold onto. Also the whole way downstairs at the back door and all the way in the basement are wet, muddy footprints. The ladies bathroom itself was out of paper towel. The mirrors were disgusting and it generally look like it had been properly cleaned in a long time. It wasn’t very pleasant. Service: There was one server working. They were overworked and had to make the drink order, taking everyone’s orders, trying to clean the tables and the food was also taking so long, she was dealing with upset customers. We waited almost 20 minutes for our drinks to come and then it took 50 minutes for the appetizers to come out of the kitchen. The main meals were over ah hour. Food: Regarding our drinks, the mocktail pina colada it’s really sour. It didn’t taste very good at all or like a virgin pink colada. Not worth it especially for the price!! They didn’t have regular Coke - what restaurants doesn’t have regular Coke? It seemed there was no soda pop option that had sugar only Coke zero and Diet Coke. The food was okay when it arrived, but it’s pretty basic. The fries are 100% from Costco and I suspect that both the fried chicken sandwich and the buffalo chicken are Costco chicken as well with just sauce, added on it. When the appetizers came, two of our four side plates were dirty.

It is noted that we went here on a weeknight at like 4:50pm. There were only a couple tables there when we arrived and there were a few more that arrived after. I can’t imagine if it was even busier the server could not keep up. The server seemed upset as everyone was complaining and got the manager. Three tables complained while we were there. I won’t go again. Especially the...

My family and I live in the Cliffcrest neighbourhood, and we were excited to support a new local restaurant. After reading several positive reviews and checking out the menu online, we chose Leo Bar and Grill with high hopes. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. While the servers were pleasant and attentive, several mistakes affected our evening: drink orders were forgotten, our appetizer arrived after the main courses, and one of the entrees was incorrect. The most disappointing part, however, was the food quality: The cheese nachos had only a minimal drizzle of what seemed like a cheese product — and nothing else. It was frankly unappetizing. The butter chicken poutine was mediocre at best. That said, the fries were quite good. On a more positive note, Leo Bar and Grill does hamburgers well. Unfortunately, after spending over $100 on an experience filled with preventable mistakes and underwhelming food, we’re not sure we’ll be back. Leo Bar and Grill, we truly hope you can do better — we’d love to see a local spot like...
