This place had a high rating so we wanted to go see what it was all about. We ordered Pad Thai, whole curried fish, phad khing and for dessert it was coconut sticky rice with mango. All the dishes came out very quickly even though it was pretty busy in there. The servers were very attentive but respected our privacy at the same time which is a difficult balance for many to achieve. Food was quite tasty but white people better watch out cus the whole fish has bones in it. There's a filet option for the lazy people. Only disappointment was the sticky rice dessert but we have high expectations after eating it in Thailand. The sticky rice was hot and the mango was cold so they were an off combination. The rice was sweeter than the mango so that was weird but not too bad. All in all it was a great experience and we would definitely come back.

The atmosphere was comfortable and the food was delicious. Service was great and the presentation, as you can see, was impeccable. I've had better Pad Thai elsewhere, but it was pretty decent. The highlights, however, were the stir-fry dishes we ordered. In terms of pricing, it's mid-range, that being ~$20/head. Rice is extra, and I think the restaurant could attract many more customers if a bowl of rice was included with the dishes -- even if it was a smaller bowl. It just completes the meal without feeling like how nickle-and-dimed. If a manager is reading this, consider it strongly -- just try it out for a few months and you'll see a difference. In any case, I would recommend this place if you're looking for decent Thai food in the area.

This place is a hidden gem in Etobicoke🤩 The food here is amazing!! We came to this wonderful place as we were driving along Queensway hungry and decided to try this place out We order the fried chicken wontons and spring rolls as appetizers and it was so delicious and fresh😋 Just perfectly made with that light hot crisp For mains we order the chicken and shrimp pad Thai and Red Thai curry and let me tell you they don’t hold back on the meat and quantity This is the best Thai place when it comes to quantity and quality👌 Most Thai places lack taste and mostly quantity and over priced You won’t be disappointed with coming to this restaurant as the dining atmosphere is beautiful and the service is excellent👌

This might have been the worst service that I have ever experienced at a restaurant. I was told an order for pick up would be ready in 15-30 minutes... And so were nearly two dozen other people, apparently. Nobody from the restaurant bothered to tell anyone who made orders that they were having issues when orders were placed, and when asked in-person at the restaurant, no one was given a straight answer. It also didn't help that they had a customer calling out orders that were eventually prepared, instead of having one of the three employees do it - evidently, the employees were too busy standing there doing nothing. They tried to make a quick buck during the New Years Eve rush, and in so doing, ruined their reputation. Instead of telling customers the truth, or even putting in the effort to come up with a semi-decent excuse, they decided to lie about wait times. Then, instead of informing customers, they just let people stand in the restaurant and outside in a massive line. I got a call 2.5 hours later from them to tell me my food was ready - after I had left, ordered at another restaurant, returned home, and finished eating. I will never dine here again, nor would I recommend that...

Delicious Thai Food outside of the downtown Toronto core. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

What we ordered:

Tamarind fish - delicious fried whole fish with a light and sweet tamarind sauce (picture below).

Crispy beef classic tamarind sauce - tender pieces of beef fried to crisp perfection in a delicious tamarind sauce with vegetables. (Picture below)

Peanut curry with chicken - delicious! Name is exactly what it is. First time trying this dish and recommend having it with rice. (Picture below)

Mango salad - good! (Picture below)

Papaya salad - good mild flavour.

Pad Thai with chicken - good but not the best one I’ve had in Toronto.

Khao Soi with chicken - delicious! Not the best in Toronto but still good!! (Picture below)

Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango - warm and delicious but I’ve never had the coconut sauce like this, thick and gooey. The rice flavour is delicious but the mangoes could be better! Very fibrous... I wonder if they use the Mexican mangoes (closer to the Asian varieties) when they’re in season during the summer. Still worth a try but definitely to share! (Picture below).

Overall a delicious restaurant with great atmosphwre and excellent service!...

Please excuse me, I have been to this location many times and have neglected to leave a review.

What can I say? This Thai restaurant is the only restaurant where I will eat Thai food.

Honestly, this restaurant is a prime example of how any business should be run. The service is 100% amazing. I am always greeted with a smile and served water right away. The food always comes out so fast, I barely even have a chance to have a conversation with my companions with me. The restaurant is also kept clean and the decor is very peaceful and modern.

The food, well that is what keeps me coming back. The food is fresh., hot and authentic. I have tried many items on the menu and I have not come across anything I did not like.

Some recommendations:

Pad Thai with TAMARIND sauce. (this is the authentic way of eating pad thai)

Coconut Shrimp

Mango Cashew Chicken

Yellow curry with coconut rice.

Note, I have also ordered delivery from this establishment and the delivery man never fails. He is also very friendly and efficient.

Thank you Bua Thai for being a great...
