Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Toronto

I used to live in Markham where Pizza Nova made exceptional pizza's however not all Pizza Nova's are created equal I'm afraid. I recently move to Etobicoke. I have ordered both pick up and delivery from this location. Pick up staff are pleasant but they continuously overcook their pizza's and the crust is burnt on the bottom and end crust. Additionally when I order for delivery they continuously come late despite me living literally 120 meters from the store, ( a 1 minute walk according to Google) They come luke warm or too cool to eat and enjoy. I really tried hard to keep ordering hoping they just have off days but the straw hit the camel's back when I ordered recently two pizza's and they took over an hour. The driver called at 1 hour saying he would be 6 more minutes they called again saying he could not find me and when I go outside he is down the end of the street walking with my pizza and its very cold out. Naturally I have ordered several times before and always give instruction to my door. The pizza came too late and too cold to enjoy. I refused to take them and told him this wasn't acceptable. I used to work for Pizza Nova as a driver and the problem is they take too many orders on 1 delivery, obviously they drive around making deliveries and likely my house is the last to be dropped off seeing that I am closest to the store. I am a 35 year customer and love Pizza Nova but I am considering giving up looking elsewhere. If they are that busy consider hiring an extra driver to handle the load. Nobody wants to pay good money...

I’ve heard they are under new ownership and it really shows. The old owners were so incredibly kind, they would always give me a free soda and ask me how I was and chat like friends, if ever there was a mistake they more than made up for it which is why I have been such a loyal customer for so many years. I received an incorrect order when I called back I was told that they would not replace the pizza and instead would offer me a 3$ credit on a 30$ pizza, I insisted on a replacement and they told me they would not replace it after 20 minutes of arguing they told me and I could bring the pizza back for a refund but they would not replace it, it made absolutely no sense to bring a pizza back to a restaurant during a pandemic, the fact that they wouldn’t make a new one after they messed up was absolutely bizarre, I have never ever experienced something like this from a pizza place! The customer service workers were incredibly rude especially the supervisor Chantel, very sad that this place has gone down hill as I was previously a big fan of pizza Nova. For such an expensive pizza the quality of service should match the price tag, the profit margin on pizza is high and pizza places are one of the few businesses not struggling due to the pandemic, it makes me very sad knowing that a location that I’ve loved since I was 4 years old has gone so far downhill. I had been a customer at this location for over 20 years but after this experience I won’t be back. Try Revolver pizza down the road, better pizza and incredible...

Really disappointed with this location. I normally order Pizza Nova through work, different location, and it’s great. We ordered tonight for pick up - pretty much $50. And for that, we got two terrible pizzas, meh wedges, pizzelle and 6 pop. Both pizzas were beyond well done, one having an entire half burned to the point of being pretty much inedible. So that’s half a pizza in the garbage. Both were so dry, they were hard to eat. The veggie pizza was also burned on half to the point of it being unpleasant tasting but not inedible. It also had so little sauce it was hard to even tell if there was sauce on it. Also, it had one single paper thin (see photo) slice of tomato per slice, so instead of a pleasant mix of all the toppings, it was only the last two or so bites that had any tomato. Two of the 6 pops we ordered were also not available, though that doesn’t really matter. Honestly, if this is what this location has to offer, we will not be ordering again. Save your $$ and go somewhere else.
