I usually come to this Burger King once a week with my kids since it’s close to their school and a convenient spot for a quick lunch (especially since there’s no McDonald’s or KFC nearby). In the past, I’ve had small issues — like getting a Whopper Jr. instead of a Whopper, or receiving mostly ice in a drink — but I never complained because I know mistakes can happen.
However, what happened today was simply not acceptable. I completed the survey printed on the back of my receipt, received a valid code (good for a month), wrote it on the receipt as instructed, and went to order fries and a drink to redeem the free Whopper. The cashier refused to honor it, saying my code was wrong, and kept asking if I really did the survey. He insisted I show him the survey page or a screenshot, even though nowhere in the survey did it say we had to keep one.
It was very uncomfortable standing there with people watching, as if I was doing something wrong when I was only following Burger King’s own instructions. To prove myself, I even checked my browser history and showed the correct survey page and code (I can share the name if Burger King is interested in improving customer’s experience) — but by then I felt so mistreated and embarrassed that I decided not to take the free Whopper at all.
When I asked to speak to the manager, the cashier told me that he was the manager. If that’s true, it’s worrying to imagine how the staff will be trained under such an attitude. Read moreI visited Burger King in Bridlewood mall, ordered two combo, I waited and observed Angela or Angel who dressed like a manager served everyone else with a smoke but when she called out number 57, I presented my receipt and expected her to serve me my order just as she served everyone else, she literally pushed the food over, no ketchup and did not offer me my drinks, when I looked and saw there was no ketchup, I asked her for ketchup, and asked her where was my drinks, she then pushed the drinks over to me very rudely, other persons waiting for their food was surprised, I asked her if this is how she served her customers and why she onky served me in such harsh manner, she kept on serving others while totally ignoring my presence. I called the number to complain about my experience, I had to call the number numerous times to be sure I’m calling the correct number because nothing about it explains where I’m calling, just plain message that they are just, around 3pm, an Indian make called without identifying himself, I asked who he was and he said he was the manager, I told him I now see where Angel hit her behaviour and training from he hanged up the phone without cares. They’re both rude and disrespectful and needs to be removed!!
The counter is packed with lots of drinks and other orders for delivery, there needs to have more employees working to eliminate this congestion of food...
Read moreI am really disappointed and felt disrespected by the service I received from the staff working at this Burger King at bridlewood mall. I ordered for Oreo chocolate shake and the staff who prepared the shake forgot to add Chocolate in it. Then when the lady gave me I just asked her that did you add chocolate in it she raised her voice and replied rudely that do you need spoon or straw. And she was behaving like I am wasting her time. I then said that did you add chocolate in it she quickly took that shake added Chocolate syrup in it and kept that shake in front of me and didn't even look at me. She didn't even apologize for the sake of courtesy that sorry we forgot to add Chocolate syrup in it. But her behavior was so disrespectful towards me. I can forgive the staff if they miss something because I understand they have to manage lot of staff but there is a way of dealing with it, even if some ingredients were missing that is not a big deal but they way they treat the customer was a big issue. I don't know why such rude people are placed in the front to handle customers. These people should always stay at the back.
