I visited Cafe Princess in the evening with friends for a sweet treat and a relaxed hangout, and our experience was somewhat mixed.
The drinks at Cafe Princess are decent, though they didn't particularly stand out. However, their mocha waffles were a delightful surprise; they had a perfect texture and were a hit among everyone at the table.
When it came to seating, I found the regular table area to be much cleaner and better maintained compared to the relaxed couch area. The couches seemed a bit worn and could benefit from a refresh to match the cleanliness of the rest of the cafe.
Service-wise, the staff were polite, but there were instances where their attention seemed divided, resulting in longer wait times for our orders.
Despite these points, Cafe Princess provided a nice atmosphere for catching up with friends over dessert. It's a suitable spot for those looking to unwind in the evening. With improvements in cleanliness and service consistency, it could easily become a go-to place for casual hangouts.
Overall, while there were some areas that could be improved, Cafe Princess offers a decent option for those seeking a sweet treat and a chill atmosphere with friends in the...
Read moreFirstly, the evening I visited here, the weather was like a heatwave, so as I was passing by that area I decided to get in and have something refreshing. There was barely a few customers inside and when I went to the counter to order, it took a while for the staff to realise I have been standing as a customer to order. They were this distracted, and chatting with each other! While I was mentioning my order, one of them interrupted the other to mockingly say something about my ordering in their language while laughing. When I was trying to find a staff to ask about where I could charge my phone, I realised the two staff were now seated in one of the tables where customers would seat and having food and coffee while the front desk was empty, I find this to be a remarkable level of unattentive service where customers aren’t served professionally and staff are behaving like unresponsible adults who don’t wanna be working at a customer focused job but sure do know how to have the perks. Last thing, the food there is okayish but overpriced but that’d be the last concern if there’s so many basic things they got wrong such as no temperature control or ac, just one stand fan in the whole place and unprofessional staffs who might or...
Read moreThis place was so cute. We walked in to nice service and had been tended to quite nicely the whole time we were there. I ordered a hazelnut hot chocolate which was perfect. Not too sweet or plain. I also ordered the brownie chocolate cheesecake. The brownie piece was a little too hard for my personal taste but the cheesecake was super delish. We purposely chose this cafe to play board games. The price to play was super reasonable as well. $2.50 per table to play is quite inviting. We enjoyed the few games they provided but we will bring our own for sure next time. My friends ordered the black tea which they liked as well as the strawberry shortcake which they also enjoyed. Our desserts were big so the price of $7+ with taxes is really worth it. As well as the drink since it’s so big. The tea was the pot with a cup which is always a win. My only recommendation for the place is to have more games & take care of the games they have. Most importantly since the keyword for this business on here is board games. Scrabble didn’t have all the letters it’s supposed to have & Clue had Monopoly money in it as well as a lot of missing key...
