Probably one of my favorite brunch spots now especially because they take reservatoions by phone 📝
-[BLACK SESAME LATTE] $5.95 ◾This tastes just like the Chinese black sesame soup that is often had for dessert ◾ aka I loved it haha ◾ I ordered mine with half sugar but probably could have gone with no sugar and been happy too
-[FLAT WHITE] $4.50 ☕ A drink with caffeine is often needed since I work nights, and ever have enough sleep ☕ They make a pretty darn good one here!
-[TOKYO FRIES] $9.25 🍟 Okay, so I love fries with all my life meaning I could not resist ordering these 🍟 They were dressed with some sort of mayo, and topped with seaweed 🍟 These were a perfect way to start off the meal
-[KARAAGE CROFFLE] $19.50 🍗 Japanese Fried Chicken, Homemade Croffle with Spicy Mayo & Maple Syrup 🧇 I had never had a croffle prior to this dish but now this is the only way I insist on eating croissants haha 🍗 My favorite dish has to be this one if I was forced to choose one
-[PORK BELLY CROISSANT COMBO] $16.00 🥐 Pork Kakuni, Pickle Red Cabbage, Pickle Daikon, Cilantro, Miso Honey Mustard Combo Includes Brewed Coffee, House Salad and Roasted Potatoes 🥩 The pork was definitely on the dryer side :') ☕ The coffee was honestly just okay but hey, it was free haha
-[SPICY NEOPOLITAN RAGU + SALAD] $19.00 🍝 Italian Sausage, Tomato, Roasted Garlic, Yuzu Kosho, Penne w/ Garlic Bread (Includes: House Salad) 🍝 The sausage is what makes this pasta spicy but because I love spicy food, I loved it 🍝 Even my friends that can't really take spicy food enjoyed this too though! Quite a sizeable portion
-[MOLTEN DARK CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE] $10.50 🍫 This was pretty tasty but it was a tad sad that the lava was already flowing out of the cake before it was served to us 😭
-[CREME BRULEE SOUFFLE] $17.50 🍰 I have never had a souffle pancake before but this to me sort of just tasted like the sponge cakes you can get at Chinese bakeries 😅 🍰 Probably just not my cup of tea tbh
-[JAPANESE DOUBLE CHEESECAKE] $10.50 🧀 My goodness, this is probably my favorite dessert they offer that I have tried 🍰 Light and airy yet somehow still cheesy! 🧀 Definitely share this as it's a pretty hefty slice haha
Service is pretty good as they constantly refill water for you! It can definitely get pretty loud in there when it's packed to its capacity so please be aware of this but otherwise, a really solid...
Read moreI’ve visited this location probably 5-6 different times just in January alone and I have to say I’m so happy that there is a cafe like this at Finch.
The coffee, espresso based drinks, tea lattes and alcoholic beverages are all great! I love that the baristas can do latte art too!
The food here is very tasty, the dishes shown in my review are the ones I highly recommend. Though I probably wouldn’t buy the shrimp tempura add on just because for price and what you get it’s really not much.
Where the 1 star gets dropped because of the wifi and lack of power outlets (compared to their Markham location)
This is a laptop friendly cafe and I’ve come to do work here on my laptop a few times and connecting to wifi is a nightmare! They have the wifi password on the little plaques on the table which to me signals they encourage you to connect and use their wifi.
I often have to bring my laptop to the register for it to connect to the router. Once it’s connected it’ll stay connected for a while which is great. Many others while I’ve visited expressed issues with the wifi. Not sure what’s going on but hope they can fix it soon.
They also don’t have as many power outlets compared to their Markham location which is disappointing since that location has them at almost every table!
It’s definitely a place you can do work at until late at night but with the wifi being a bit unstable and the lack of plugs I suggest coming early if you want to secure a table with access the the power outlet or make sure your devices are fully charged.
This location also has a wide range of seating which is great! If you have a group of 2-4 people getting a seat shouldn’t be a problem, but if you 5-8 people, best to book a reservation. Every time I’ve been here I’ve just walked in which is convenient.
Overall highly recommend this place if you’re wanting to meet up with friends, go on a date, or to do some work. Love how it’s right at Yonge and Finch. There is also a paid parking lot right next to it if you’re driving.
*note for accessibly, the cafe is located on the second floor and from what I saw, there isn’t an elevator or some sort of accessibly ramp. When I go again Ill ask or look around a bit more but from my visits I haven’t found a ramp or...

Cafe N One presents a rather unique dining experience, balancing between commendable culinary offerings and areas needing improvement. Firstly, their brunch menu truly stands out. With a plethora of great options, it's evident why this aspect is a highlight. The array of choices and the quality of food certainly make it a go-to spot for brunch lovers.
However, transitioning to the service aspect, it's noticeable that there's room for enhancement. The service doesn't quite match up to the standard set by the culinary experience. This disparity becomes a slight setback in the overall dining atmosphere.
Furthermore, regarding the seating arrangements, it's a mixed of emotions. While the booth seats offer comfort, the alternative seating options are quite the opposite. For patrons not lucky enough to snag a booth, the experience can be less than comfortable, which is a notable drawback.
On a positive note, the ambience of Cafe N One shows a versatile character. During the day, it adopts a serene, study-friendly environment, appealing to those seeking a quiet retreat. Come nightfall, the cafe transforms into a vibrant student gathering spot, buzzing with energy. This adaptability adds a unique charm to the place.
In conclusion, while Cafe N One excels in its brunch menu and ambience adaptability, it falls short in service quality and seating comfort. With improvements in these areas, it could potentially elevate its overall rating. The experience, as it stands, is a blend of impressive and underwhelming...
