Chatime — Restaurant in Toronto

I’m giving 4 stars because I always come here and it’s usually great. But the kid who made my drink today really sucks I’m sorry. The lady that took my order was nice as usual and the kid made my drink. As he was sealing it up he decided to start scrolling on his phone. Leaving the drink in the machine for a while. I didn’t say anything and he pretended not to notice the drink was ready and instead turned his back to me and continued on his phone. The other lady noticed and looked annoyed at him and got my drink for me. I wasn’t going to write this review because it’s chatime who cares…but then I tasted it. I get this drink all the time and I’ve unfortunately just had to toss this one. I work in food service as well, I have no problem with people being on their phones or doing other things but when a customer is waiting on you and your co workers are expecting you to carry your weight it’s just unprofessional. Young kid can’t be older than 19. Glasses. Sucks. Otherwise love this place but will skip when...

I ordered a chatime triple, 80% sugar, less ice please. My order came out hot, which I didn’t even know was an option. The staff said, “H means hot.” But that “H” only appeared on their label, not on my receipt or the app order I placed. How was I supposed to know that?

I asked if I could at least get some ice. Instead of just giving me a cup of ice, they opened the sealed drink and started pouring it between multiple cups, at one point, there were three different cups involved. They filled one entirely with ice, which meant there wasn’t enough space for the toppings. When I got it back, the drink was lukewarm, watered down, and missing most of the bubbles and jelly — just a few bits left floating around.

When I asked if that was really the fix, they looked at me like I was the problem. All this because I didn’t understand an unlabeled “H” buried on their end of the system. A little clarity and basic empathy could’ve...

As a long-time Chatime loyalist since the 2000s from the Philippines, I have been so happy to find the same level of topnotch quality and service here in Canada!

This branch is particularly special because it became my happy place after the Chatime Broadview branch (once my beloved refuge) closed down. As usual, the staff are super friendly and accommodating--and make the best drinks! The baked goods are fantastic, too. And I love the high ceiling here--reminds me of the Chatime branch in Baguio (in the northern mountainous part of the Philippines). This seemingly minor but important aesthetic detail also adds a touch of class to the ambience, which I'm really vibing with.

Altogether, Chatime Regent Park is an awesome...
