My experience with this place was extremely disappointing! I took 2 team Canada sweaters there to get my name and number on both sweaters. My order was simple. On the red sweater I wanted my name and the number 11 on the back, and the number 11 on both sleeves. On the white one I wanted the same thing, simple! Number 11 on the back plus my name and the number 11 on both sleeves. I filled out a form requesting exactly what I wrote above. I paid 124.00 for this. I went to pick them up and guess what, on the red sweater the back was perfect, it had my name and number 11, but no numbers on the sleeves! Why? The white sweater. I loved this sweater. It was from the 1998 team Canada team, and it took me almost a year to find one in white and in my size. It had my name on the back, but the number 11, my goodness the ones looked like tomahawks, it looks absolutely ridiculous! The same with the ones on the arms. I said to the man working there, what is this? He tells me, if you can believe this! We send them out and they make them the way team Canada wore them! So, my order meant absolutely nothing, they get sent out and made to look like they were 27 years ago, why do I give a shit what they wore in 1998! I wanted the sweaters to look like what I ordered! I got NO numbers on the sleeves of the red one and the white one for me is totally ruined! A 150-dollar sweater, 124 dollars for garbage numbering, so I am out 274 dollars, and I told him, I am very disappointed, and his response: I am sorry you are disappointed, that’s it! He then tells me I should have known that! He is the one that knew that and he told me nothing! He says to me, you did not ask for a normal eleven. Seriously! I am supposed to know that I am not getting a normal 11! It was his obligation to tell ME what would happen when they got sent out, he should have then written on the order put normal numbers and put the numbers on the sleeve of the red one. They didn’t put them on the sleeves because in 1998 the sweater had no numbers on the sleeve. This is the most idiotic explanation I could imagine! After months of walking past this shop closed, finally came in after COVID reopening. I can admit the shop has a great selection. Wanting to support local, I was in the shop and asked for some prices on some NHL merch I was gonna buy, friend of mine had a $130 Juventus F.C. windbreaker in his hands ready to go up to the cash register to pay. After only around 5 minutes in the shop, the owner, I assume, rudely called us out to hurry up, as there was a father and his son who had just arrived, waiting outside to enter the store. My friend left the windbreaker and I decided not to pick up the items I had In mind.
