Back in the days coffee time used to be a very good place, I still from time to time go there, they have irresistible muffins their coffee is good as well but since Tim Hortons started coming around and swapping everything people don't seem to be too interested in coffee time and mind you their prices are lower than Tim Hortons so I don't see why Canadians don't consume from Coffee Time, Country Style or whatever other coffee places they have been around longer than Tim Horton's and in my point of you they have more credibility, and if their product moves in other words if the consumer visits their locations more often they will be able to innovate and bring even better products instead of closing locations due to luck of sales (Business) every company deserves to have sales and business in order to succeed, I remember not long ago people use to line up at a Coffee Time location in Caledonia Rd., North of Eglinton and one on the corner of Caledonia Rd., and Lawrence well they are no longer in business because in that very same strip There are not 1 but 3 Tim Horton's locations why because there's enough cash flow to keep on innovating products and open locations, if people would integrate with other coffee shops maybe the chances of closing Coffee Time or Country Style donuts would be slim to none, and you have to remember sometimes is not misusing funds or miss budgeting it's when there is no sales or customers traffic coming in and salaries overhead expenses business and realty taxes...
Read moreIt's a shame that the least amount of stars you can give is one. I would rate this place closer to a zero than a one. This may be long, so TLDR down below if you want to skip the long part. Also apologies for the bad grammar and writing, English is not my first language.
We went in and ordered an Americano. The cashier asked if we wanted cream, yada yada, and we said that we just wanted just an Americano with nothing else added. The cashier then poured coffee that was already in a kettle, and then charged us $4.24. On the menu, there was no coffee option anywhere close to this amount. Coffee was marked as $1.67 for small size, and something around $2.89 for extra large. So we paid (which now that I think about it, we shouldn't have). As we were staring at the coffee wondering how it was so expensive, she (the cashier) said that it was $4.24 because it was a double shot espresso. I don't understand how this can happen. We ordered an Americano, and we know she understood, because she repeated the word "Americano" back to us. Is this a purposeful scam? I hope the cashier gets fired.
TLDR; We ordered an Americano with nothing else added to it, the cashier charged us more than double the amount for an Americano, and then told us that it was expensive because it was a double shot espresso, which we didn't even order. Plus, the coffee wasn't even freshly made, it was poured from a kettle (and who knows when the...
Read moreI recently visited Coffee Time and was delighted by the freshly baked croissants. They were absolutely delicious and tasted like they just came out of the oven! It’s great to find a spot that values quality and freshness. One thing that stood out was the variety of combo offers available. It’s always a plus when a coffee shop provides options to mix and match, making it easy to try different items without breaking the bank. It shows they care about providing value to their customers. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere. It makes a big difference when you’re greeted with a smile and served by people who seem to enjoy their job. The ambiance of Coffee Time was also noteworthy. The place was clean, cozy, and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. Cleanliness is a big factor for me, and Coffee Time definitely delivered. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Coffee Time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious pastries, great deals, and a welcoming...
