TL;DR - Eat here! Your future self will thank you!

My wife and I biked to the junction with the intention of trying a new restaurant. While we evaluated our options and checked storefront menus, I decided to ask a passerby if they lived in the area and what they recommended. Their answer of "Curry Twist, it's the second Indian restaurant on your right" was immediately seconded by another passerby who overheard our conversation. Shortly after, a 3rd stranger chimes in, echoing the sentiment if the others. With a unanimous response to 'ask the audience' we went straight to Curry Twist and we were not disappointed. Hands down, this is the best curry and naan bread I've ever had - both in Toronto, and beyond. Beyond that, the service was awesome, the 'back of house' staff was friendly and social, and we didn't even have to wait for a table! I look forward to my next visit, and will continue to recommend this restaurant to everyone...

Love this place. Authentic Food done with pride. They know their spices and how to season without overpowering the dishes flavour. My 2nd visit as I walked in for take out. Ordered Aloo Gobi, Saag Chana, Chicken Curry, Goan Fish Curry, 2 Samosas, Garlic Naan and Rice.

I asked for spicy and the heat was a perfect to compliment the dish. Anan the chef was very nice to speak with as he was literally cooking right in front of you as I watched. All fresh ingredients and the proteins were tender in their individual sauces.

These are flavours you don't forget and this Bloor West area needs this Indian food place. They are hard to find.

Definitely going to be enjoying a couple days of left overs.

I highly recommend this for date night, small group or just take out if you are in a hurry, but you definitely should...

I highly recommend this place. I was worried by the reviews about the service but I’m happy I went because it was quite the opposite . The service was amazing, my water never emptied and when I needed a napkin I didn’t even need to ask. He even came 2 more times after we had paid to see if we needed water and we were not rushed out of the restaurant. I felt like the server enjoys what he does. I’ve never had service at another restaurant this good that had the same price range. The food was also very good. I had samosas, onion bhajjia, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and lamb madras. I also liked that I was asked about how spicy I would like my food, rather than just assuming and they actually gave me the spice I asked for. I really liked the food and can’t wait to see if I will enjoy the other items...

What a nice little place in the High Park-Junction area. Didn't know what to expect. Friendly staff, and really good food. Typical Northern Indian food. I had the Spicy Lamb Briyani and Garlic Naan. The samosa was tasty but not different than others. I tasted most of what our group had; Butter Chicken, Kebobs, and Curries were all equally delicious. Naan was made fresh per order. Little warning as most of the "mild" had some kick to it. My Spicy Lamb Briyani was as spicy as.expected and not for the faint of heart. A very likeable place in the west end without going to Little India in the east end. One little complaint is that they charged forty cents for each takeout container for the food we didn't finish. Never ever seen this before, and not sure if this is a petty issue with me or the establishment.

This was an unplanned dinner decision that we were thrilled to have made! The ratings for this place don’t lie; greeted with a warm welcome & smile from all members of the staff upon entry, and leaving with a belly filled with delicious authentic meals, this place gets a 10 out of 10! We tried the home style chicken curry (such a flavourful dish with a lovely coconut to it) the butter chicken (also incredibly flavourful and delicious) with garlic naan. Not only are their portions deceivingly large, their naan is made fresh in house and is to die for!! I appreciated our waiter giving us the dish recommendations, he was spot on. This is a great place for a casual meal. Anyone who loves Indian dishes will surely find gold here!!

What we ordered and our thoughts on the food: - Garlic naan: nice and chewy, but could be rolled out a little thinner. - Butter chicken: we were looking forward to this, but it had a very strong cardamom / clove taste to it, and is a tad too sweet. - Home-style curry chicken: this was delicious, in contrast to the butter chicken. - Samosas: this one is our favourite. we’re not typically fans of too much cumin, but the samosas were delicious when paired with the tamarind chutney. we will definitely be ordering this again! Overall, not a terrible spot for indian take out. Might have some hit/miss but we’d love to order again and try out other dishes!
