Wow I absolutely loved the ambiance of this establishment. It's very elegant and classy inside. There are multiple different types of seating available inside, as well as an umbrella and and outdoor patio area for two outside the restaurant. The server I had was an absolute sweetheart. Thank you so much for your service today!🙏 🌟Friendly Thai Appetizer Plate 🌟Beef Pad See-Ew 🌟Pineapple Fried Rice The Appetizer plate was a generous portion and included both hot and cold spring rolls, calamari, shrimp satay and mango salad. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS. The shrimps were a nice size too. I'm a HUGE noodle lover; the thicker the better. The pad See-Ew was flavorful and full of perfectly cooked noodles to satisfy my craving. I was expecting the pineapple friend rice to come in a pineapple.🍍 While it did not, it was still plated beautifully. The pineapple hunks in this dish were enormous. They use real pineapple here, none of that canned stuff. The shrimps were seasoned well and plentiful. I was impressed with every dish I tried. If you're looking for a well priced, delicious Thai meal DO check out The Friendly Thai!

I haven’t been back to this Friendly Thai since before COVID. Used to love it. The staff and food was always great! Now that I have eaten there a few times recently, I got to say, they have gotten better! Their dishes that are spicy tickle the tongue just enough to dampen your periorbitals without losing flavour. The portions are almost perfect as in there is too much food! It fills me up that I sometimes don’t have room for dessert! They have a wonderful drink selection. Menu covers all the meals you’d want from a Thai Restaurant and the Staff are great. Dine in experience is best. Vegetarian options are yummy. They will do their best to accommodate dietary restrictions but if you’re allergic to Peanuts, well you can’t eat at a Thai Restaurant! My biggest issue with this place is that they get a lot of Uber Eats orders because their food is good. I enjoy coming here regardless.

I've ordered from here many times before, but last night was the last time. I've ordered the cashew chicken from here at least a dozen times over the years, I placed another order last night, when it arrived I received the most bland, literally spiceless meal in have ever received, I'm not even sure there was salt in it that's how bland it was. Not a single chili pepper or pepper seed in the entire meal, which was surprising considering it's considered 🌶️🌶️🌶️ on the menu, it tasted like chicken and water with a really weak flavor. It was a huge disappointment, I tried to eat it but it just tasted so bad, ended up throwing the majority of it out and filled the void with McDonald's. Never again.

This use to be my favorite restaurant. Last 2 times all the meals were cold. I was just here Jan 8th with 2 others and once again the food was cold. They took it back and promptly brought out the food again on new dishes. You could tell these things were microwaved because it was warm on the outside and hot in the middle and taste it like mush. The coconut rice dishes had giant sharp stocks of lemongrass in them. After picking out all of the pieces of lemongrass we showed the manager and He tried to explain how these dishes were supposed to have lemongrass but clearly doesn't know how you are supposed to prepare it. We told him that we were not paying for the meal and he was OK with that but then I came home and that's when the stomach pains started. I spent the entire day Monday not being able to get out of bed because my stomach was hurting me so much. I spent most of Tuesday in bed as well with bad stomach pains and not being able to eat anything. Tuesday night I went to the emergency room to get looked at and it turned out that I had an obstruction in my intestines that was probably from swallowing a huge stalk of lemongrass. I called the restaurant today to leave a message for the owner to contact me but they have not returned my call as of yet so I decided to let everybody online see what they can expect in their rice. My next steps are to call the health board and have this restaurant looked into because I would not recommend it to...

Wow! HORRIBLE experience at The Friendly Thai. First I ordered the mango chicken which arrived looking like soup with little bits of chicken in it. Absolutely disgusting looking so I called and complained. They told me that it's the way it normally looks but offered to send me a new one. Then they told me the delivery driver was unable to come so I asked for a credit. I called them a few weeks later to redeem and they insisted that I could only get one item for the exact amount I paid and if I got something less I wouldn't get the difference back. I actually wanted spring rolls as well and said I'd pay the $1.99 difference. They said that I couldn't do that. After going back and forth for 30 minutes on the phone I gave up. The woman on the phone was not helpful at all! They should've just offered the stupid spring rolls for free. Then she hung up on me. Food quality is poor and service is rude. There are so many better Thai places, don't bother with this one. Try Isaan Der down the street. Way...
