With over 25 specialty rolls this place captured my heart. Danny and his family have been in this space for over 20 years and there is great reasons why. Everyone is accommodating and so nice, they have kept the food up to date with purple rice sushi, keto sushi, ramen, both raw sushi and cooked bowls and so much more. There are always specials each and every day. I love the big flavours here and everything is so so fresh. Being right at Carlton/College and Yonge means they are so very accessible. Oh and I tasted their sushi rice right after it was made and it had the perfect tang of vinegar and pearls of individual rice. Please follow @joannasable on instagram for more food and travel fun

A mediocre sushi restaurant with premium pricing. We ordered the sushi boat which came to $40.99 for 27 pieces; 3 pieces each of salmon, tuna, octopus, butterfish, squid, surf clam, sweet shrimp, and 2 other fish. The quality of the fish was low and the cold and was not filling for 2 people; frankly for the price it was not worth it. They also served us rice with the boat but it wasn't even sushi rice. Moreover, the miso soup bowl they served is smelt of dish soap. However, the space was quite cute and comfortable and the service was decent. Overall, the quality and price of the food would not invite me back again.

We ordered the chef’s daily special (40 pieces) for $35. The rolls were good, and delicious. I think you can’t go wrong with the rolls here. The nigiri was yummy but the sashimi is not as fresh. It’s expected for the price though. What really made me give this a 4 stars instead of 3 stars is because the staff were nice, especially the chef, smiling and greeting us when we walked in and personally came over to refill our waters when his hands weren’t busy. The waitress was also very friendly. Overall, it’s a good place to satisfy your sushi cravings! The rolls are amazing.

I will not return simple because from the very poor experience tonight. Most importantly, there is a health issue.

  1. One of the kitchen staff was carrying a very LARGE AND DIRTY even from the external - PLASTIC GARBAGE CAN and walked through the dining room twice. He and the garbage can walked by me and it turned my stomach sick right the way. It is a health issue to me. I trust that I should report it to the health official. The dining room floor was dirty and the service is poor.

  2. I saw a witness who was on her smart phone and served a table at the same time. She did not even put her phone away when talking to the customers.

  3. The chef at behind the sushi bar was using his smart phone as well from time to time. He was filling the salad dressing to a plastic container and he used his fingers to wipe out the over spilled dressing and dropped it to the container.

  4. The service was poor that I had to wait for a while for the waitress to take my order and other request. The food was not even hot.

  5. When I was ready to leave, 3 customers came in and the waitress did not even set up the table but to drop the 3 sets of chopsticks and menu...

I originaly planned to get my food to go but it was SO NICE in there I had to stay. it looks sketchy on the outside ill admit, but to 10% off take out drew me in and the insanly clean and well kept atmoshere kept me there. You could easily watch the man preparing salmon behind the bar. I looks around, counters were super clean, I could see into the back a bit, and it was super clean back there too.

They brought me tea while I waited for my takeout. The staff where always around so it was easy to get service.

I oreded pan freind Udon. Never had it before, but it was a little too fried for me (some chicken was a little burnt) but i dont know... maybe it was supposed to be? I also oreded veggie spring rolls. at 2.99 for 6 on special I figured you couldnt go wrong, but it turned out by 6 they meant 3 cut in half....

I didnt try any sushi that day, wasnt in the mood, But because it was so clean I'll definitly be back...

Alright. Let's be honest here. AYCE sushi is low quality. This place will make you a sick sashimi plate with the most impeccable texture there is. I just got home and decided to write just how flipping amazing it was. Everything is fantastic, and I'm going back.

The storefront looks awful, their signage is terrible, but the food is impeccably good. Staff is so courteous and friendly. Hell, it was so good, I decided to write a review about it. I've passed near it countless times thinking it's a bad joint, but it's actually fabulous.

We had Sushi, Maki, and Sashimi, and everything was beautifully made and crafted by able hands. Will go again. Price is very reasonable (7$ maki, 25-27$ sushi/sashimi...
