This place is fantastic. Huge portions, delicious food, bomb service. Unpretentious setting - not too trendy, but clean and modern, great vibes. The three of us first shared a MASSIVE plate of pulled pork nachos (they did not skimp! it was totally delicious and we totally devoured it) then followed it up with the sampler sliders (which were adorably plated). In order of least to most delicious, it would have to be the bison, lamb, kobe, turkey, beef, then the brisket for me. All of them were delicious with the exception of the bison - too tough and those grassy sprouts did not do it any good. Cranberry sauce on the turkey was great although the meat itself was a bit dry. One of us really loved the lamb. Spicy ketchup on the lamb and kobe was a bit hot for me, but I'm certainly an outlier when it comes to spice. Can't go wrong with classic beef, but the brisket was two of us' definite favourite - very tender, juicy, just lovely! We also had some shooters that were hilariously ripe with innuendo: I Wanna Leia (delicious & sweet, kind of Kool-Aid-y), Honey Dew Me (bitter and not that tasty), Blue Balls (listerine, bleh), Broken Down Golf Cart (one of my favourites, $2 special as it's being taken off the menu, unfortunately). Service was top notch too. All this and splitting a Pabst comes to around $25 a person. DAMN. And those nachos - too good. Final Verdict: want to come back and try everything.

I have been meaning to come here for awhile, so when a Groupon came up, it was the perfect opportunity. It seemed a little expensive at first glace for the amount of food you received, but I was pleasantly surprised at how filling and delicious everything was. The place was a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. There were patio seats at the front, a bar that you could sit at, and then a number of seats that stretched down the hallway to a big back area. I had the lamb burger and dressed it with tzatiki, feta, onions and tomato. It was cooked perfectly with generous toppings. I added the panko crusted onion rings. OMG so delicious. The portion was pretty big, so next time I would probably share the side. I was delighted to see the variety on the menu. It wasn't just burgers. There were a number of other things I wanted to try. I was also surprised to see tons of drink specials. I didn't realize that it really had a bar atmosphere (my bad, considering it says "bar" right in the name) Service was friendly and fairly quick. Lots of people there watching the hockey game - which you could see from any seat in the house on big flat screens. Definitely one of the best gourmet burger joints I've tried in Toronto so far.

Came here for dinner with some friends on a Friday and they had a wait. Decided to put our names down to wait for a table anyway since my friends said good things about this place. However, while we were waiting, the host and waitress' were not friendly when we asked them about the wait time. I get that it is out of their control but they didn't even try to be nice about it, it was fine since we still waited. However, we waited for more than 15 minutes just to have someone come over to take our orders and the food took another 30-40 minutes to come out. On top of that no one came to check on the table or to bring us water or the sauces we asked for, such as ketchup for our fries. The food was decent but the wait times and service really brought down the experience. We had a hard time trying to call over our waitress for the bill so we decided to go up to pay. Another waitress helped us out but didn't seem too happy about it. Overall not a really good experience, service wise. Hopefully it was a one-off but not sure if I would want to come back again.

Ok, so I have been going to this bar for almost 2 years. I’ve spent money countless times at this bar, well over $1000. The food and the vibe of the place is pretty cool. That I come there often, I’ve ever only had one altercation which ended pretty quickly because I was being the bigger person. Now my problem started when I found out I was banned from the bar by one of the managers “Sean”, when I asked him why I was banned, he could not come up with a logical explanation than, “I don’t like your friends” I was so confused because 95% of the time at that bar I am by myself. My true friends have good manners and are very cordial and they’ve only came around once or twice. I pay my bills, I play my part in society. I keep to myself. So I felt his choice in banning me was extremely random, out of place and racially motivated, Why? for associating me with other trouble makers at the bar who so happen to be “coloured” like I am, or as my friends because we had a conversation at the bar. I am not a rude person if someone says “hi” I’ll say hi back. But that doesn’t mean those are my friends. It’s a BAR. I told him I felt his decision in banning me was racially motivated. This man yelled out to me from the steps of the bar “I’m not racist I am trying to protect this business” I asked from what? A young black man trying to release some stress with a few drinks and fried calamari? Yet I am stopped from enjoying my peace again by a white man due to the fact that he judged me, and my character and my skin colour without knowing the truth. For people to think all coloured people are the same is extremely disgusting to me, and I hope that one day he gets the mental help he needs. Because I could never do that, I’ve never felt so disrespected I my entire life. I was sad because I really enjoyed that bar, but after experiencing what I did, I’ve been working on my self, due to self hatred and self esteem issues due to me being coloured. It sounds pretty messed up, but this manager at this bar was my breaking point and I am trying so hard to not hate myself,it gets tiring trying to live your life and someone always try’s to tear you down because of your skin colour. If you go to this bar when some of the good workers are working you’ll have a decent time.. but if Sean is working you might get self conscious and feel like you’re walking on eggshells due to the fact that if you’re a coloured person you don’t know if you’ll be his next target to...

It wasn't all it's hyped up to be. My friend and I went there yesterday to try it out. While it wasn't the biggest disappointment, I wasn't impressed. We were there before the lunch crowd so there was no reason for the delay of the food. I ordered a lamb burger special (salad with house dressing), my friend ordered fries and gravy. It took about 25 minutes for our food to be served. Guess what? The order was messed up. My combo was served with fries and gravy and the salad was nowhere to be found. The waitress was nice to check for us, she was quick to return with the salad. Although she meant well to say 'it's waiting for you', it wasn't the right words in that situation. I wasn't 'late' or have gone somewhere, and it wasn't a self serve restaurant, to say the salad was 'waiting' for me was just wrong. I wouldn't have to fetch the salad myself, would I? The order was simply messed up. Simple as that. The free soda refill was never offered. Lastly, a few words about the quality of the food: I'd expect a juicy tender burger after a 25 minutes wait. I was wrong. The meat hasn't got much flavor and wasn't tender. They have packed the meat a bit too tightly so it has a texture of cardboard. The house salad was ok, but the dressing was tasteless. The bun was cold so the general impression of the food quality wasn't good. Thumbs...
