My wife and I were in the area after getting off at the TTC Subway Station Donlands and came across the really eye-catching Pizza Joint. The sign stood out and grabbed our attention as soon as we were walking along Danforth, so we decided to get a pizza and let me say….. This is how a pizza should be done. We walked in and found an extremely clean place. You could tell that the people that work and own this place take pride in how they present themselves. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We ordered a 12” pizza with Pepperoni, Sliced Tomatoes, Double Smoked Ham and Green Peppers. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the crust was airy and light, so tasty. The pizza sauce they used was full of flavor which is where some pizza places drop the ball. The toppings were very fresh and of great quality, especially the cheese. A bonus that was available was a few outdoor tables, where you could sit and enjoy your pizza. The only negative we had was, this place only does cash (at the time we were there), so make sure to bring some along with you. This was a great experience and we will definitely be back for great food like this. If you live in the Danforth and Donlands area, you are very lucky people. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed you did.

Don’t go to the city often, but went for the auto show. Went out of the way to visit this pizza place being one of the oldest in the city to have lunch. Not only were the staff (which seemed like a nice authentic family) amazing, talking about making dough, letting us watch them make the dough, and telling us about the history of the place, but they seemed genuinely happy to chat & be there which is nice. They were down to earth & love what they do. The place is cozy, & had memorabilia. Great atmosphere. Priced reasonably. Lots to choose from. Now for the pizza ….. MMMMM. Best pizza I’ve ever had. Best ingredients, best ratios. The crust is delicious. I usually like a fluffier, chewier (deeper dish) pizza but for a crispier slice… hands down my favourite. I won’t go out of my way to get a slice anywhere, but deffs would come an hour to have a slice here again. Perfect, intimate amount of seating where you feel at home. Definitely recommend if you’re a pizza lover. Also, their cola was delish.

I'm new to the area and was looking for my new "go-to" pizza spot and I think I may have found it! I've now had two pies from Danforth Pizza House (The Pizza Queen & The Angry Bee) and both were delicious. The Angry Bee was especially delicious 10/10. The crust, sauce, and toppings all tasted like high quality ingredients and they're generous with their toppings. I found a slice from a 14" pie to be quite filling. The thickness is also perfect for me, you can pick it up and eat it with ease but it isn't too thick for a traditional style pizza. Their pizza is more expensive than your typical fast food pizza places but it's worth it given the higher quality. Overall, I think the price is a fair value. The folks who work (and own?) the place were very friendly and I'm happy to support this local small business. I highly recommend!

HORRIFYING EXPERIENCE!!

there are much better pizza places when it comes to service!!!!!! The man and woman who run the shop are extremely rude and very aggressive... they made me feel like an unvalued customer and spoke to me with a lot of attitude. I canceled my order in the restaurant after asking them politely if they could put my pizza on a plates for me to take home instead of the box. when they answered rudely and made me feel bad for asking a simple question I decided to cancel the order, which was unfortunate as they had already begun to make it, however it is my money and I didn't feel like I wanted to support them as a business with their terrible attitude, I knew I could go to another pizza place and actually feel like a valued customer. Upon canceling my order and walking out with my daughter in my arms, they both began to yell at me! talk about immature and aggressive employees. I walked away and felt proud, I made a smart choice to get pizza from elsewhere. As i was walking away I was grabbed out of nowhere by the woman, who yelled at me and told me karma was going to get me (which felt like a threat) and said that I'm a bad mom for showing my daughter what I did. I was in shock, the yelling was bad enough but for her to chase after me and grab me was unacceptable and I honestly thought, wow I need to call the police if she continues to touch/grab me which she had no right to do. No store employee should ever physically touch or abuse a customer.... I told her not to touch me again and walked away, with my daughter who was terrified and was crying. I am honestly disgusted by these two employees .... terrible experience over all and very unprofessional and mean...

Incredibly friendly staff and delicious pizza. A true gem of the neighbourhood. I've been meaning to try their pizza as it is very popular in the community pages/groups. We (2) ordered the 16" Angry Bee and took half of it home. Highly recommended. Such a great mix of sweet and spicy.

They're cash only with an ATM on-site.

I was waiting for a friend, outside, for about 10 minutes before going in. It was constant steady traffic for folks picking up pizza orders. I even often heard people walking by, cutting off their conversation to say how great it smelled in there. I completely agree. I love the countertop set up at the storefront window so that passersby can watch the pizzas getting made.

Since COVID they pivoted and no longer have much dine-in seating. There are a few stools by a bar table against a wall with a beautiful assortment of Danforth Pizza House memorabilia. My favourite were a set of business cards from the establishment over the years. We were told that they had been brought in by customers who, for example, found them in their parents' homes from way back when. It was so wholesome to be shared this story.

They've also got a nice selection of fizzy beverages that just go perfect with a slice of pizza. Looking forward to...
