Amazing staff and ever so delicious food.
As a person who was born in India, I’ve tried way too many Indian restaurants that “specialize” in breakfast all over the GTA for a very long time. This spot right here, I can say with confidence will take you back home while physically being here in GTA. It has been the best overall experience so far.
The person who took our takeout order (probably the owner), was amazing for the get-go. Me and my wife (who is of different ethnicity) usually love to try various items from the menu, just to explore what the food is like. So as we were ordering, she had bunch of questions regarding the menu, the owner took his time explaining everything we asked him. He also let us sample before we finalized the order, just so that we’ll be happy with what we ordered. Besides the fact that he works in a customer service industry, he as a person was very humble, soft spoken and just had really good energy. I loved it!
So we get home, I take the first bite off the Medhu Vada that I dipped in Sambar, and HOLY all those memories from my childhood I spent in India eating breakfast in restaurants, rushed through my mind. I devoured all of it in seconds. I tried the dosa and uttapam next and it blew my mind how authentic it tasted. It sent me back home. My wife having tried numerous Indian breakfast restaurants before, told me that this was different and she had not tasted anything like it before. She couldn’t be more right. This is how an Indian breakfast should taste like. This is the ONE!
I couldn’t resist calling the restaurant in the middle of our meal to thank them for blessing us with this delicious food and making our night. We can finally stop looking. Our search is over.
I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone craving authentic Indian food....

I asked one of the cooks about it, he said they get a good number of online orders hence the delay in getting food to waiting customers inside the restaurant. Seriously guys? 30 mins waiting time for dosa? And they didnt even serve the table together!!! Mine came first then it took them 7-8 minutes for my friend's dosa.
Revised the rating from previously 4 stars to 3 stars overall for this reason. They are true to their name... the twist on the dosa is it takes 30 minutes to come and that too the table isnt served together!
September 2023 Dosa Twist was good. Nice that its open till late. This is one of the few Dosa places that doesnt have spicy food. Thank you guys for that 🙏
The portion size was large. The dosa combo is good... it has the masala dosa, idli and vada (either its a choice or both, i dont remember), gulab jamun and pop.
The only disappointment was that the masala dosa was more like paper masala dosa and a tad bit too brown. It was crunchy and broke very easily, as opposed to the proper masala dosa which needs to be slightly softer and golden brown in colour. Thats the reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars.
I am a connoisseur of sorts for Dosa, hands down its one of my favourite dishes. And I make it...

Other than the Schezwan Masala Dosa, the dosas with “twists” somehow feels like they are missing some form of flavours elevation that you would expect from a South Indian dish. After trying some of the paneer and egg dosas from one of their “twists”, I was skeptical about the Schezwan Masala Dosa that was recommended to me by the front staff as a spicier alternative to the Spicy Kara Masala Dosa that was sold out for the night. However, the lady was very spot on with her suggestion as the Schezwan Masala Dosa was indeed spicier and an only exception to the rest of the “twists” they had on the menu.
For the price, you do get a big portion of Dosa that seems to very reasonable for the standards within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) these days. Each Dosa comes with a Sambhar, coconut chutney, tomato chutney and a dessert serving of “Kesari”.
The sambhar here is very flavourful which complements the dosas very well. The chutneys do carry some heavy tastes but they are unfortunately heavily shortchanged by being served colder than room temperature.
Not to forget their filter coffee in the drinks menu, that it although comes out from a machine, it still meets reasonable...
