DoughBox Wood Fired Pizza & Pasta - Eglinton — Restaurant in Toronto

The place I truly wanted to love with the concept of fresh pasta, fresh pizza. I thought this would be a home run however things are not quite as fresh as the advertising and marketing would like to believe, and I’m gonna forgo the customer service mistake have been prepared the wrong pasta, which I still took because I like them both, but wasn’t what I ordered and go to the issues I found however I will note that the manager was more than happy and did offered to exchange it. I was just in a rush and wasn’t able to take advantage of his offer that being said the chicken in the dishes for these taste like it’s out of a frozen bag in the back and slightly freezer burnt fresh pasta doesn’t taste like it’s no freshly made in store as it is with their locations like Oregon grinder downtown or several of the other fresh pasta made and store patients for this may be made fresh to order. It doesn’t taste like rose, made from freshly made pasta for that day, which is a big pizza however did look good and I am gonna go back and try one of those to see if they’re any better. The staff seem friendly and engaging so I’m gonna give them a second chance just off their wonderful customer service. However, I am good at a quick note after eating the meal, and trying my best to be as fair as possible i sadly also must comment on the toppings or lack their of… no mushrooms or any colour aside from the red rosé sauce, no peppers, no basil no counter plate, colour points or flavour points, which end up leaving the sauce itself rather plain and bland by the time...

For some reason they call pre-sealed bagged cookies: specialty cookies...

The radio playing is so loud, I could barely hear the names being called out.

I didn't know there were paper plates until I threw my garbage out, nobody said anything.

There isn't any signage to help locate the garbage, nor is there any signage for where to leave the pizza pan.

If you have the Twisted Club pizza, beware because, it is drenched in oil. Four napkins weren't enough. The flavours on the club pizza aren't great either.

Also this restaurant feels out of place in this location.

I ordered 3 pizzas, 2 pastas, and 2 salads for a total of $90, and it was a complete disappointment. The pastas had absolutely no flavor. All three pizzas were so thin you could almost see through to the other side — and on top of that, they were extremely salty and had very little cheese. One of them was ham and pineapple, with literally about 10 tiny pieces of ham and 10 pieces of pineapple. The Caesar salad had old, wilted lettuce that was far from fresh.
