Not as good as it was before;

I frequent this spot with my girlfriend and honestly this experience was pretty terrible. We came around 4pm and ordered 2 apps, they..did not come out at the same time. Followed by our server asking if we wanted a double shot in our drinks, my drink 100% was not a double. This is fine so far but they have a special from 2pm-5pm, so our server deliberately ignored us until 5pm. Meaning we came at 4pm, and were only able to order 1 drink, kind of a joke.

To put things into perspective, this was a tuesday early dinner, it was not busy, there was maybe about 3 other tables in the whole bar. Their prices have gone up so nothing on their menu is 5$ anymore.

They serve you room temp water and you have to chase them down for a refill, our server did not check in with us after we received the food, infact she didnt until around 5 15..almost 40 mins after the apps were ordered. We ordered a mac and cheese for her, and a spicy chicken sandwich for myself, my food came within 10 minutes, but hers was not ready yet.

During this time our server didnt notify us of any kitchen delay or anything, she just dropped the food and moved on. Another 10 mins passes, it's 5 40..still no food. It's Mac & Cheese, this is not a lengthy dish, I have worked hospitality for years now. She finally comes back around to our table, and explains the kitchen didnt have any prepped, it does not take over 20 mins to make a mac & cheese, she didn't even receive the food yet. She received it around 5:50, 30 mins after I received my food. Absolutely unacceptable. We finally got her to give us the bill, she dropped it off at 6:05 pm. I told her i'd need a machine for credit.

Fast forward and its 6:17..no machine yet, we just want to leave, it's been 2 hours. The bill itemized shows I was incorrectly charged for my drinks so when she came around thankfully she understood and took it off the bill. We're finally out around 6:25.

4/10 overall, our server was not trained well, they didnt refill waters, they only checked in on us twice, and she definitely forgot to punch that mac & cheese and lied to us. She also gave us dirty menu's. The food was what you'd expect for its price, nothing special. Extremely overpriced drinks. I don't know if there is new management, but this place was amazing and I always had a great time. Unfortunate that it was so poor this...

Really upset about an experience tonight. The one bartender Mia was helping a large group of us at the bar and giving us great service. We asked to move to a bigger area in the back and she said yes. We sat at the larger booth at the back and the manager (I believe her name was Sarah) decided to help us and take a few orders. After putting in a few orders for drinks in, a few people in our group wanted to move to the larger back room seating since we were too large of a group to fit in the table without being on top of each other. A few of us stayed back to wait for our orders to take over there too but Sarah came back and said she didn’t want people in the larger room or to serve them while back there because she had an problem with another group earlier in the day and she “didn’t want a repeat” with us. We said okay we will stay here and mention it to them. One of our people went over to the back room and mentioned she won’t be serving them back there. They thought that meant she just wasn’t their server and to just pay as you go at the bar. Clearly a miscommunication but instead of Sarah going back there to tell them herself she decided to tell the nice bartender to refuse service to anyone trying to order at the bar and then proceeded come over to myself and one other person at the original smaller table and slap down all the bills rudely stating “I’m going to have to ask all of you to pay your bills and leave” then continued to go off on me about the other people and treating me so rudely when mind you, I literally sat at the table she wanted me to sit at and drank one mocktail and had money in my hand including a tip ready to hand her before she even went off on me. If she truly had an issue with a large group sitting in a certain area, she should have gone to THOSE PEOPLE and said that to them and not freak out on the ones who were at the “correct” table. Idk whole thing was ridiculous. This large group of us are regulars here since we are all staff and managers at a pub down the road. You can even ask the nice bartender how much we tipped her cause we are industry people. This was just so rude and uncalled for. Leaving this review on behalf of our entire staff that...

I wanted to try something new instead of the typical tourist spots that Toronto has to offer I saw great reviews on this place and thought that I would give it a try, not knowing that it’s kinda in the middle of nowhere absolutely no parking available #Toronto

the restaurant its self is very unique, me and my boyfriend sat in a booth where there was a screen beside us and it just kept replaying the same video the music was very !! loud and We couldn’t have a conversation, meanwhile it was in the middle of the day so I don’t know why the music was so loud!

The food that we ordered was terrible, the portions were very small. We ordered the cheese dip thinking that it was shareable considering it was an appetizer but the dip was more suitable for 1 person. And the chips that they served alongside with it weren’t tasteful and seemed like they were almost out of date.

I ordered A salad and the description of the salad did not match what I was served there was noodles in the salad a sesame type dressing and it also came with little to none green leafy lettuce, The salad also came with chicken that was very very dry and not seasoned.

My boyfriend ordered a burger and french fries liked the burger only because he was “starving ” and the french fries serving was yet again very small and the gravy that was served alongside with it was extremely tasteless like out of a can!!!

Furthermore the waitress was focussed on my boyfriend even though I’ve paid for the damn bill and I tipped her only because I know that waiters don’t get paid enough.

ALSO The booth that we sat in the chairs were not previously wiped and the table seemed to have some type of residue on it. I HIGHLY suggest purchasing a wood table polish and a proper cleanser for the booth chairs.

Save yourself the trip YOUR MONEY and your taste buds! do not come here!

I’m aware that there’s another location, which we passed by on our way home and it seems to be a lot more inviting but after my experience of this chain I will not be returning to any of the El Furniture...

Nice place trendy good staff young, average price most places charge around the Toronto regardless it's what it is pretty everywhere nowadays expect that it's a expensive place but not inexpensive either way Good atmosphere trendy targeted to a younger crowd primarily at night time ,have a dj loud music good music but loud not a place to go if your trying to relax and just unwind in the evening / late night, it's was only a Monday night just trying to grab a cocktail and unwind after work not a traditional 9-5er my self , it's a good place for mid twenties to late thirties or possibly older if your into that type of scene who want a good atmosphere trendy and want that type of experience instead of night club or lounge not much of that type of thing around here I'm sure they will do well and be successful as if I was younger I would really enjoyed it at my age almost 40 I like a different quieter / relaxed atmosphere / experience and expect I don't care about trendy or trendy looking staff myself, I prefer a different level of service at my age / personal preference / personal taste ,just not my scene still great place and that's great thing in the city there something/ somewhere for everyone and you don't know till try new places most likely wouldn't go back myself just not my vibe still great spot if that's your vibe Still definitely recommend it's definitely a cool little spot and I'm sure will is and continue to be successful , good spot for millennials primarily or anyone looking for that type trendy annex vibe great for everyone ; singles and guys/girls night out, couples , occasions, etc and good quality food as well with dj music no entrance fees that I'm aware which is cool for there customers as most places with a dj/ music charge a fee etc also no dress code etc it's pretty low-key casual vibe which is nice as well

This place was amazing. The food is all $6 here. Appetizers, mains, dessert. You can even pay an extra $6 and they will donate a meal to the homeless. It is a great place for a cheap meal but it is quality food. The food tasted amazing. I went with a group and we all opted to get different dishes and tried a little bit of everything. Everything we had tasted amazing. The fish tacos, the wings, warehouse poutine, warehouse Mac and cheese, Chaing Mai bowl, and the mini donuts we all standouts. Honestly I could list everything here because I thought it was all very good. The photos show that as we had so many dishes off the menu. The atmosphere is also great. It is a little dark if you go at night. We were in the corner and there was a lack of lighting there but overall was not too bad. This is a bar so there is music and lots of talking so it is loud. I wouldn't recommend if you want to sit and have a quiet evening. Overall, this is a great opportunity place to have a good time out downtown without breaking the bank. I had 3 dishes and only paid a bit over $20. The atmosphere is very friendly and worth a try.

Great music and atmosphere. Music is pretty loud (as it should be), but I don’t mind. Food was very cheap and it was average, but you get some pretty big portions out of it. I would strongly advise against ordering the addition veggies and dip if you order wings, for +$1.50 you get four tiny carrots and a thing of dip. The burgers were not bad, fries were good as well. We also ordered nachos to start, I was very satisfied with that as well. Drinks are expensive relative to the food. The deduction in stars would be related to the service. Probably because we didn’t order drinks, our table’s total tip out would be less than $10. Our table received all the burgers at once, and the wings 20 minutes after the burgers came out. The waitress apologized twice but didn’t really seem to follow up on where the food was. This was a mediocre experience, but given the atmosphere and their food/drinks, this would definitely be a place I would visit again, with hopes that the service will be better next time.
