I ordered from here 3 times and 2 times out of 3 they got the order wrong. First time was on Uber eats too! I ordered a large order of wings and they gave me a small order. I called in and was given a credit for it. The second time they got it wrong I called in thinking it's better for the restaurant since they get all the money and I was able to pick it up that day. I asked for a crab fried rice platter and specified the one for 2-4 people and 2 coconut sticky rice for pickup. The guy who picked up the phone wrote the order down. When I came down they packed one regular sized crab fried rice and one order of coconut sticky rice. When I questioned him about it he said "I repeated the order back to you" and he really didn't. I heard him mumbling to himself and even heard "platter" but that's it.

He asked if I wanted to wait for it to be re-made and I asked him how long it would take. He said 20-30 min šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø. I didn't have time to wait 30min. There's a reason I called in. I mean if you mess up the order shouldn't you at least offer to ask the kitchen to rush the remake? I understand that mistakes happen but you need to make an effort to fix that mistake.

And the worst part was that he was essentially trying to pass the blame to me.

Honestly I like the food here, it's interesting and fun, a little too salty sometimes but you can always ask if it's possible to adjust the salt. But the service could really be improved. More training needs to be done.

If you make a mistake, try to fix it. If you can't hear the phone call properly step outside. Always repeat the order especially if you are uncertain. Learn the menu properly (which I think was part of the problem since he seemed confused when I first mentioned the soft shell crab fried rice platter), call a manager when you don't know what to do, and take responsibility for your mistake.

I do however appreciate that he mostly maintained a customer service...

4.7 starts for WHAT !!???!!!! Toronto peeps Wake Up !!!

This Eat thai bkk in Toronto is COMPLETELY opposite to the North york (Steel’s)

Environment- Hot & humid inside the restaurant! Non-breathable as no Air conditioner was on! Asked the staff thrice, one of them replied she is feeling hot toošŸ˜‚

Quantity- Ridiculously LESS serving as compared to other Eat thai bkk Stir fry offered literally like a small serving ( for a kid) with rice! Price- 19 $ without tax If you go to Steel’s ave Eat thai, you will know what the chef serves you there!

Quality & flavour profile- ZERO ! Yes literally a Zero on ten! Stir fry Chinese brocolli- the owner told us he could add more green for 2 dollars & he literally gave us 2 piecesšŸ˜‚ This was a Real joke on us!

Spoke to the owner about everything & he replied ā€œThe Toronto location has a different TASTE & servingā€ HAHA then why NAME it & Label it as ā€œEat thai bkkā€ Please change your restaurant name as it doesn’t do justice for ANY thai flavours !! The owner / chef should go & have a meal at the Steel’s ave location to ACTUALLY understand the flavour & quality of food served there

Moreover, the service was ok- the lady kept cleaning the floor for 20 mins besides our table😱 & never stopped

We returned the green curry, had to pay for stir fry as we had already tried it and left the hot 🄵 humid non-airconditioned restaurant as i was so sweaty in 30 degrees to go & have dinner somewhere else

An intolerable experience !!

Canadians should really not put up WRONG reviews & try ACTUAL GOOD food ! This Thai is a fake Thai & I swear on Lord!

I heavily don’t recommend this place AT all ! šŸ™šŸ»

Ps pls note the 2$ extra the owner added for no extra veggies! Lol Sheer desperation for price in return for Nothing !

Visit Eat Thai at Steel’s North York, you will...

Nestled in the vibrant Annex neighborhood on a heritage building low rise block on Bloor Street West just west of Borden and a short walking distance from the Bathurst subway station, Eat BKK offers an authentic and memorable Thai dining experience that seamlessly combines bold flavors, inviting ambiance, and exceptional service.

From the moment I stepped inside, the rustic-meets-modern decor set the stage for a cozy yet lively meal. The colorful interior and the natural light streaming through the front windows created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. During the summer, their charming patio adds another layer of appeal.

The menu offers a treasure trove of Thai culinary delights. My pratner opted for the Khao Soi with Chicken and the Mango Salad, both of which exceeded my expectations. The Khao Soi was a perfect balance of creamy coconut curry and mild spice, with a delightful textural contrast between the soft and crispy noodles. The Mango Salad offered an unexpected yet harmonious blend of sweetness and tang, with mangoes, onions, and savory fish sauce complementing each other beautifully. For vegetarians the staff provide a vegetarian/vegan option of most meals such as the pictured Kaho Soi Noodles from Northern Thailand prepared with Tofu - delicious.

Service was prompt and friendly, with staff attentive to every detail, making the meal even more enjoyable. Occasionally weekday lunch discounts of 20% is offered for cash payment

Located conveniently in the Annex, Eat BKK is a gem that offers excellent value without compromising on quality or creativity. Whether you're seeking a cozy lunch spot or a flavorful dinner destination, this place is a must-visit for Thai food lovers. I'll...
