The empadas were fine. I was really excited to try this local spot. However, I couldn't be more disappointed by the way I was treated. I'm writing this a few weeks later, as I wanted to give myself time to calm down from the situation. Me and my partner decided to have our chicken empadas in the car - we did, and they were fine. I was in the passenger seat, got out of the car to find a place to throw away the bag and wrapping the empadas came in, and suddenly this older gentleman from the store ran out into the parking lot shouting at me, saying I can't park there - it was absolutely ridiculous. I told him I literally just bought empadas from the store. I showed him the wrappings. He said "how long ago". Seriously?! I walked back to the car absolutely shocked. He then proceeded to follow our car as we were backing out and kept indicating for us to roll the window down. My partner did and the man was not apologetic at all - he just kept going on about how the restaurant nearby seats 50+ or something, and that people always park in front of his storefront (thus leaving few spots for his customers). I am sure this is extremely frustrating for him and his business, but the reality is that all of this happened around 11:20am - said restaurant wasn't even open at that time and the parking lot was not busy. Anyway, I hate to leave negative reviews, especially for what seems like a family-run business, but the way I was treated was really unacceptable and frankly quite scary. I was in the area looked up sandwich place near by and Went to buy as soon as I parked my car, owner was yelling at someone who was parking as well over parking. There were plenty of parkings available and person wasn’t parking in front of her store. Not interested in giving business to such a angry person. Moreover place looked unhygienic, worn out and owner looked not so clean. Given Covid is on rise again, I would avoid this place. I read other reviews where owner yells at people who parks there. Very sad woman who needs to get a life. Warning please find better place to get food and give business someone who is nice.

Look at restaurants owner’s comment below!! She is nasty karen. Plenty of reviews to show that she is full blown Karen who attacks very aggressively if anyone parks anywhere in that plaza. Her two parkings were not being taken. She had issue with anyone regardless. She is rude and aggressive. She should complain if her parking spot is being effected. SMH Again I would avoid this place. No need to visit this ghetto!! Too risky!! . As for this Karen sandwich maker can report who ever. Place looks unhygienic to me. Can’t even compare to Tim Horton, let alone Panera!!
