Enchilados taquería — Restaurant in Toronto

Expected authentic Mexican flavour but I found it to be worse than the usual Mexican chains like Bar Burrito, Fat Bastard etc. Maybe I have high standards for mexican food after having lived in Southern California for sometime, however even a person with no idea what the real deal is would find this place underwhelming. The chicken burrito that I ordered here was very soggy and flavorless. The extra guac was so so sour. Even the chicken was nothing to write home about- shredded and flavour less. I ordered spicy sauce which was not at all spicy- it was really mild and flavourless. At the price I really don’t think the food here is worth it. In fact a chain store like Chipotle would be a tastier and more affordable option. I also got a Tres Leches cake which was nothing more than a grocery store vanilla sponge cake doused with evaporated milk. It was not at all like an authentic Tres Leches. Only positive is the place has cute decor and the people working are there friendly. Don’t be fooled by other glowing reviews on here(like I was). Save your money...

If your ever in this area, this Mexican place is a must-try for their tacos and only their tacos! There are a variety of selection of proteins to go in you taco. They also serve 3 more premium tacos as well. If your not feeling tacos, they also have quesadillas and burritos to choose from. I got the de barbacoa, al pastor and pulled pork, along with a adobo pork burrito. We went late before closing and there were no orders ahead of us and we needed to wait 15-20 mins for my order. Was disappointing the wait when there's no other order in house. The flavors of the tacos were flavorful, each bite was juicy and you just want to go at it for another bite. However, the burrito was very disappointing. It was large in size, definitely did not cheap out on the rice and beans. But there was no flavor, no seasoning. It felt I was eating pulled pork with plain rice and tasteless beans. It was super disappointing especially after eating the tacos.

Would recommend TACOS not...

Ordered delivery from here for the first time tonight. Tacos were next-level delicious. The braised beef was my favourite, but they were all incredible. I especially loved the tortilla, whatever they are doing with those, they are doing it right.

BF enjoyed his burrito as well. His only complaint was that the salsa was all together in the middle so it was too mild on first bite and then suddenly very spicy in the middle.

Still giving 5 stars though, because watching him take that extra-spicy bite gave me a laugh.

10/10, I can't wait to visit in person when this pandemic is over.

Edit: 1 year later, this place still deserves 5 stars. We've ordered probably 10 times, and it's been consistently great. The braised beef is still my favourite, but I really enjoy the black bean steamed tortilla as well. The salsa in my now-fiance's burrito has been evenly distributed after that first order.
