I have a couple memories of this place that are forever etched in my mind as unusually exceptional.
The first was an epic disaster of a day - a failed 30km jogging experiment, stranded without card, cash or transit pass in the Finch corridor trails literally crawling back to etobicoke just in time for the legendary x-large pepperoni pizza that will either last one week or an epic sitting. I decided to take home much of the pepperoni pizza, feeling slightly queasy from the adventure with the firm belief that this kind of pizza only gets better with age, with of course a one week expiration date or else the bacteria gets it. In all honesty - I had no right with such a tall order. After all, the x-large pizza was meant for overweight bikers and Italian mobsters only and not the calorie consumptions of Richard Simmons decked in UnderArmour. I didn’t quite have the curls of Richard Simmons but Im pretty sure we have similar taste in music. Though my little Hyundai, driven home with all the anticipation of manual instead of power windows, does now forever smell like the wild flowers of Queen Street West and just a slight soupcon of Finch ragweed.
The second was a take-out special, with side sauce - sneaking the pizza box into my backpack so that no one in the neighborhood would suspect that I was taking the delicious rarity across town en route to the Don Valley trails. Luckily the sun was shining that day and after a couple hours on the trail, complete with random latter entrance into the Science Center backyard, an experience for adults (cannabis + arguments about Carl Sagan) matched only by a David Attenborough documentary or else Al Gore preaching to vegans - we opened the box of pizza and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly before a walk to the Aga Khan museum of pottery relics and hung tapestries. That day the Margherita was chosen, honoring the delicious wild basil which grows practically anywhere along with fresh mozzarella di buffala and the delicious local camino chocolate that I didn’t have for fear of overpowering my trailed beer cans of collective arts.
Both pizzas were delicious in their own way and while I could never choose between them, I will share my love equally within this review to convey my appreciation...

Read moreI have been ordering delivery pizza for a while, however as of recent, the service went down hill. Orders are inaccurate. Delivery takes more than 1 hour. Yesterday I waited 2 hours for my pizza!! When I called to check in after 1.5 hours of waiting the receptionist told me that the driver was on the way (I live 8 minutes away by car). After 20 more minutes still nothing. After two hours I called back and said that I was not going to pay for the order as 2 hour wait without any late notice is unacceptable. Thankfully they agreed. When I opened up the pizza, it was the wrong bloody pizza!! They put basil in it instead of cherry tomatoes - how the hell do you mess that up!? It was gross. We were starving so we had a couple of slices but it was utterly unsatisfying. The driver's reason for being so late was that the order before me was 25 pizzas - that's not my problem. And also that he couldn't find where I live......there is GPS for that. Clearly you can't handle the volume of orders, so please hire more staff or tell your customers that the wait times are longer than normal. It's called integrity. I could have ordered from somewhere else instead of getting an hour late delivery of the wrong pizza. You just lost a customer. I am never ordering from you again.
**on another note - I browsed through your answers to other people's reviews and boy "really" and "lol" responses are unprofessional! I am not sure who answers these, but you should take up some customer service courses - because this is extremely rude...
